1. പതിന്നാലു ആണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞാന് ബര്ന്നബാസുമായി തീതൊസിനെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി.

1. Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.

2. ഞാന് ഒരു വെളിപ്പാടു അനുസരിച്ചത്രേ പോയതു; ഞാന് ഔടുന്നതോ ഔടിയതോ വെറുതേ എന്നു വരാതിരിപ്പാന് ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്ന സുവിശേഷം അവരോടു, വിശേഷാല് പ്രമാണികളോടു വിവരിച്ചു.

2. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them concerning the evangel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

3. എന്റെ കൂടെയുള്ള തീതൊസ് യവനന് എങ്കിലും പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്പാന് അവനെ ആരും നിര്ബ്ബന്ധിച്ചില്ല.

3. But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

4. അതോ, നുഴഞ്ഞുവന്ന കള്ളസ്സഹോദരന്മാര് നിമിത്തമായിരുന്നു; അവര് നമ്മെ അടിമപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് നമുക്കുള്ള സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഒറ്റുനോക്കുവാന് നുഴഞ്ഞുവന്നിരുന്നു.

4. And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in the Messiah Yahushua, that they might bring us into bondage:

5. സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ സത്യം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നിലനില്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അവര്ക്കും ഒരു നാഴികപോലും വഴങ്ങിക്കൊടുത്തില്ല.

5. To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the evangel might continue with you.

6. പ്രമാണികളായവരോ അവര് പണ്ടു എങ്ങനെയുള്ളവര് ആയിരുന്നാലും എനിക്കു ഏതുമില്ല; ദൈവം മനുഷ്യന്റെ മുഖം നോക്കുന്നില്ല; പ്രമാണികള് എനിക്കു ഒന്നും ഗ്രഹിപ്പിച്ചുതന്നിട്ടില്ല.

6. But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: YHWH accepteth no mans person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:

7. നേരെ മറിച്ചു പരിച്ഛേദനയുടെ അപ്പൊസ്തലത്വത്തിന്നായി പത്രൊസിനോടുകൂടെ വ്യാപരിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു പത്രൊസിന്നു പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം എന്നപോലെ എനിക്കു അഗ്രചര്മ്മക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം

7. But contrariwise, when they saw that the evangel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the evangel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

8. ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കണ്ടും എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപ അറിഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു തൂണുകളായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന യാക്കോബും കേഫാവും യോഹന്നാനും ഞങ്ങള് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിലും അവര് പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലും സുവിശേഷം അറിയിപ്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കും ബര്ന്നബാസിന്നും കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെ വലങ്കൈ തന്നു.

8. (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

9. ദരിദ്രരെ ഞങ്ങള് ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നു മാത്രം അവര് പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്വാന് ഞാന് ഉത്സാഹിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

10. എന്നാല് കേഫാവു അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയില് വന്നാറെ അവനില് കുറ്റം കാണുകയാല് ഞാന് അഭിമുഖമായി അവനോടു എതിര്ത്തുനിന്നു.

10. Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

11. യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു ചിലര് വരും മുമ്പെ അവന് ജാതികളോടുകൂടെ തിന്നു പോന്നു; അവര് വന്നപ്പോഴോ അവന് പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാരെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു പിന് വാങ്ങി പിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്നു.

11. But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

12. ശേഷം യെഹൂദന്മാരും അവനോടു കൂടെ കപടം കാണിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ബര്ന്നബാസും അവരുടെ കപടത്താല് തെറ്റിപ്പോവാന് ഇടവന്നു.

12. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.

13. അവര് സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ സത്യം അനുസരിച്ചു ചൊവ്വായി നടക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാന് എല്ലാവരും കേള്ക്കെ കേഫാവിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതുയെഹൂദനായ നീ യെഹൂദമര്യാദപ്രകാരമല്ല ജാതികളുടെ മര്യാദപ്രകാരം ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നീ ജാതികളെ യെഹൂദമര്യാദ അനുസരിപ്പാന് നിര്ബന്ധിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

13. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

14. നാം സ്വഭാവത്താല് ജാതികളില്നിന്നുള്ള പാപികളല്ല,

14. But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the glad tidings, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

15. യെഹൂദന്മാരത്രെ; എന്നാല് യേശു ക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താലല്ലാതെ ന്യായ പ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാല് മനുഷ്യന് നീതികരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നാമും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാലല്ല ക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ളതു വിശ്വാസത്താല് തന്നേ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്രിസ്തു യേശുവില് വിശ്വസിച്ചു; ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാല് ഒരു ജഡവും നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ലല്ലോ.

15. We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

16. എന്നാല് ക്രിസ്തുവില് നീതീകരണം അന്വേഷിക്കയില് നാമും പാപികള് എന്നു വരുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തു പാപത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരന് എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളം അല്ല.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 143:2

16. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Yahushua the Messiah, even we have believed in Yahushua the Messiah, that we might be justified by the faith of the Messiah, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

17. ഞാന് പൊളിച്ചതു വീണ്ടും പണിതാല് ഞാന് ലംഘനക്കാരന് എന്നു എന്നെത്തന്നേ തെളിയിക്കുന്നു.

17. But if, while we seek to be justified by the Messiah, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore the Messiah the minister of sin? By no means.

18. ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്നായി ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് ന്യായപ്രമാണസംബന്ധമായി മരിച്ചു.

18. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

19. ഞാന് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി ജീവിക്കുന്നതു ഞാനല്ല ക്രിസ്തുവത്രേ എന്നില് ജീവിക്കുന്നു; ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് ജഡത്തില് ജീവിക്കുന്നതോ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി തന്നെത്താന് ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ദൈവപുത്രങ്കലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താലത്രേ ജീവിക്കുന്നതു

19. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto YHWH.

20. ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപ വൃഥാവാക്കുന്നില്ല ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് നീതിവരുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചതു വെറുതെയല്ലോ.

20. I am crucified with the Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but the Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of YHWH, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
