1. പൌലൊസും സില്വാനൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിലും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുമുള്ള തെസ്സലൊനീക്യസഭെക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു

1. Paul and Silvanus and Timothy to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല്നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

2. Grace to you, and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം ഏറ്റവും വര്ദ്ധിച്ചും ആളാംപ്രതി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹം പെരുകിയും വരികയാല് ഞങ്ങള് യോഗ്യമാകുംവണ്ണം ദൈവത്തിന്നു എപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. For this is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God for which you also suffer,

6. since it is a righteous thing with God to repay tribulation to those who trouble you,
