1. അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പാനുള്ള വാഗ്ദത്തം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാല് നിങ്ങളില് ആര്ക്കെങ്കിലും അതു ലഭിക്കാതെപോയി എന്നു വരാതിരിപ്പാന് നാം ഭയപ്പെടുക.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 95:11

1. Therefore, let us fear lest perhaps a promise having been left to enter into His rest, that any of you may seem to come short.

2. അവരെപ്പോലെ നാമും ഒരു സദ്വര്ത്തമാനം കേട്ടവര് ആകുന്നു; എങ്കിലും കേട്ടവരില് വിശ്വാസമായി പരിണമിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു കേട്ട വചനം അവര്ക്കും ഉപകാരമായി വന്നില്ല.

2. For, indeed, we have had the gospel preached to us, even as they also; but the Word did not profit those hearing it, not having been mixed with faith in the ones who heard.

3. വിശ്വസിച്ചവരായ നാമല്ലോ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിങ്കല് പ്രവൃത്തികള് തീര്ന്നുപോയശേഷവും“അവര് എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ കോപത്തില് സത്യം ചെയ്തു” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

3. For we, the ones believing, enter into the rest, even as He said, 'As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter into My rest,' though the works had come into being from the foundation of the world. LXX-Psa. 94:11; MT-Psa. 95:11

4. ഏഴാം നാളില് ദൈവം തന്റെ സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളില്നിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായി” എന്നു ഏഴാം നാളിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരേടത്തു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. For He has spoken somewhere about the seventh day this way, 'And God rested from all His works in the seventh day.' Gen. 2:2

5. “എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് അവര് പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല” എന്നു ഇവിടെ പിന്നെയും അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

5. And in this again, 'They shall not enter into My rest.' MT-Psalm 95:11

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു ചിലര് അതില് പ്രവേശിപ്പാന് ഇട ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാലും മുമ്പെ സദ്വര്ത്തമാനം കേട്ടവര് അനുസരണക്കേടുനിമിത്തം പ്രവേശിക്കാതെ പോകയാലും

6. Therefore, since it remains for some to enter into it, and those who formerly had the gospel preached did not enter in on account of disobedience,

7. ഇത്ര കാലത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം ദാവീദ് മുഖാന്തരം“ഇന്നു അവന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേള്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കരുതു” എന്നു മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ “ഇന്നു” എന്നൊരു ദിവസം പിന്നെയും നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നു.

7. He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, Today (after so long a time, according as He has said), 'Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.' MT-Psalm 95:7, 8

8. യോശുവ അവര്ക്കും സ്വസ്ഥത വരുത്തി എങ്കില് മറ്റൊരു ദിവസത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പിന്നത്തേതില് കല്പിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു;
ആവർത്തനം 31:7, യോശുവ 22:4

8. For if Joshua gave them rest, then He would not have afterwards spoken about another day.

9. ആകയാല് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ബത്തനുഭവം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. So, then, there remains a sabbath rest to the people of God.

10. ദൈവം തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളില്നിന്നു എന്നപോലെ അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിച്ചവന് താനും തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളില്നിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായിത്തീര്ന്നു.

10. For he entering into His rest, he himself also rested from his works, as God had rested from His own. LXX-Psa. 95:11; Gen. 2:2

11. അതുകൊണ്ടു ആരും അനുസരണക്കേടിന്റെ സമദൃഷ്ടാന്തത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം വീഴാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം ആ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പാന് ഉത്സാഹിക്ക.

11. Therefore, let us exert ourselves to enter into that rest, that not anyone fall in the same example of disobedience.

12. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം ജീവനും ചൈതന്യവുമുള്ളതായി ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള ഏതു വാളിനെക്കാളും മൂര്ച്ചയേറിയതും പ്രാണനെയും ആത്മാവിനെയും സന്ധിമജ്ജകളെയും വേറുവിടുവിക്കുംവരെ തുളെച്ചുചെല്ലുന്നതും ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ചിന്തനങ്ങളെയും ഭാവങ്ങളെയും വിവേചിക്കുന്നതും ആകുന്നു.
യെശയ്യാ 49:2

12. For the Word of God is living, and powerfully working, and sharper than every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of the heart;

13. അവന്നു മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സൃഷ്ടിയുമില്ല; സകലവും അവന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു നഗ്നവും മലര്ന്നതുമായി കിടക്കുന്നു; അവനുമായിട്ടാകുന്നു നമുക്കു കാര്യ്യമുള്ളതു.

13. and there is no creature unrevealed before Him; but all things are naked and laid open to His eyes, with whom is our account.

14. ആകയാല് ദൈവപുത്രനായ യേശു ആകാശത്തില്കൂടി കടന്നുപോയോരു ശ്രേഷ്ഠമഹാപുരോഹിതനായി നമുക്കു ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു നാം നമ്മുടെ സ്വീകാരം മറുകെപ്പിടിച്ചുകൊള്ക.

14. Then having a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession.

15. നമുക്കുള്ള മഹാപുരോഹിതന് നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതകളില് സഹതാപം കാണിപ്പാന് കഴിയാത്തവനല്ല; പാപം ഒഴികെ സര്വ്വത്തിലും നമുക്കു തുല്യമായി പരീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനത്രേ നമുക്കുള്ളതു.

15. For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses but One having been tried in all respects according to our likeness, apart from sin.

16. അതുകൊണ്ടു കരുണ ലഭിപ്പാനും തത്സമയത്തു സഹായത്തിന്നുള്ള കൃപ പ്രാപിപ്പാനുമായി നാം ധൈര്യ്യത്തോടെ കൃാപസനത്തിന്നു അടുത്തു ചെല്ലുക.

16. Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and we may find grace for timely help.
