1. അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പാനുള്ള വാഗ്ദത്തം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാല് നിങ്ങളില് ആര്ക്കെങ്കിലും അതു ലഭിക്കാതെപോയി എന്നു വരാതിരിപ്പാന് നാം ഭയപ്പെടുക.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 95:11

1. God's promise of enjoying his rest still stands. So be careful that none of you fails to receive it.

2. അവരെപ്പോലെ നാമും ഒരു സദ്വര്ത്തമാനം കേട്ടവര് ആകുന്നു; എങ്കിലും കേട്ടവരില് വിശ്വാസമായി പരിണമിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു കേട്ട വചനം അവര്ക്കും ഉപകാരമായി വന്നില്ല.

2. The good news was preached to our people long ago. It has also been preached to us. The message they heard didn't have any value for them. They didn't combine it with faith.

3. വിശ്വസിച്ചവരായ നാമല്ലോ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിങ്കല് പ്രവൃത്തികള് തീര്ന്നുപോയശേഷവും“അവര് എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ കോപത്തില് സത്യം ചെയ്തു” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

3. Now we who have believed enjoy that rest. God said, 'When I was angry I took an oath. I said, 'They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.' ' --(Psalm 95:11) Ever since God created the world, his work has been finished.

4. ഏഴാം നാളില് ദൈവം തന്റെ സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളില്നിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായി” എന്നു ഏഴാം നാളിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരേടത്തു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. Somewhere he spoke about the seventh day. He said, 'On the seventh day God rested from all his work.'--(Genesis 2:2)

5. “എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് അവര് പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല” എന്നു ഇവിടെ പിന്നെയും അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

5. In the part of Scripture I talked about earlier God said, 'They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.'--(Psalm 95:11)

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു ചിലര് അതില് പ്രവേശിപ്പാന് ഇട ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാലും മുമ്പെ സദ്വര്ത്തമാനം കേട്ടവര് അനുസരണക്കേടുനിമിത്തം പ്രവേശിക്കാതെ പോകയാലും

6. It is still true that some will enjoy that rest. But those who had the good news preached to them earlier didn't go in. That was because they didn't obey.

7. ഇത്ര കാലത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം ദാവീദ് മുഖാന്തരം“ഇന്നു അവന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേള്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കരുതു” എന്നു മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ “ഇന്നു” എന്നൊരു ദിവസം പിന്നെയും നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നു.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 95:7-8

7. So God again chose a certain day. He named it Today. He did that when he spoke through David a long time later. As it was said earlier, 'Listen to his voice today. If you hear it, don't be stubborn.' --(Psalm 95:7,8)

8. യോശുവ അവര്ക്കും സ്വസ്ഥത വരുത്തി എങ്കില് മറ്റൊരു ദിവസത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പിന്നത്തേതില് കല്പിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു;

8. Suppose Joshua had given them rest. If he had, God would not have spoken later about another day.

9. ആകയാല് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ബത്തനുഭവം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. So there is still a Sabbath rest for God's people.

10. ദൈവം തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളില്നിന്നു എന്നപോലെ അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിച്ചവന് താനും തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളില്നിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായിത്തീര്ന്നു.

10. God rested from his work. Those who enjoy God's rest also rest from their work.

11. അതുകൊണ്ടു ആരും അനുസരണക്കേടിന്റെ സമദൃഷ്ടാന്തത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം വീഴാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം ആ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പാന് ഉത്സാഹിക്ക.

11. So let us make every effort to enjoy that rest. Then no one will fall into sin by following the example of those who didn't obey God.

12. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം ജീവനും ചൈതന്യവുമുള്ളതായി ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള ഏതു വാളിനെക്കാളും മൂര്ച്ചയേറിയതും പ്രാണനെയും ആത്മാവിനെയും സന്ധിമജ്ജകളെയും വേറുവിടുവിക്കുംവരെ തുളെച്ചുചെല്ലുന്നതും ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ചിന്തനങ്ങളെയും ഭാവങ്ങളെയും വിവേചിക്കുന്നതും ആകുന്നു.
യെശയ്യാ 49:2

12. The word of God is living and active. It is sharper than any sword that has two edges. It cuts deep enough to separate soul from spirit. It can separate joints from bones. It judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart.

13. അവന്നു മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സൃഷ്ടിയുമില്ല; സകലവും അവന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു നഗ്നവും മലര്ന്നതുമായി കിടക്കുന്നു; അവനുമായിട്ടാകുന്നു നമുക്കു കാര്യ്യമുള്ളതു.

13. Nothing God created is hidden from him. His eyes see everything. He will hold us accountable for everything we do.

14. ആകയാല് ദൈവപുത്രനായ യേശു ആകാശത്തില്കൂടി കടന്നുപോയോരു ശ്രേഷ്ഠമഹാപുരോഹിതനായി നമുക്കു ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു നാം നമ്മുടെ സ്വീകാരം മറുകെപ്പിടിച്ചുകൊള്ക.

14. We have a great high priest. He has gone up into the heavens. He is Jesus the Son of God. So let us hold firmly to what we say we believe.

15. നമുക്കുള്ള മഹാപുരോഹിതന് നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതകളില് സഹതാപം കാണിപ്പാന് കഴിയാത്തവനല്ല; പാപം ഒഴികെ സര്വ്വത്തിലും നമുക്കു തുല്യമായി പരീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനത്രേ നമുക്കുള്ളതു.

15. We have a high priest who can feel it when we are weak and hurting. We have a high priest who has been tempted in every way, just as we are. But he did not sin.

16. അതുകൊണ്ടു കരുണ ലഭിപ്പാനും തത്സമയത്തു സഹായത്തിന്നുള്ള കൃപ പ്രാപിപ്പാനുമായി നാം ധൈര്യ്യത്തോടെ കൃാപസനത്തിന്നു അടുത്തു ചെല്ലുക.

16. So let us boldly approach the throne of grace. Then we will receive mercy. We will find grace to help us when we need it.
