2. ശോബലിന്റെ മകനായ രെയായാവു യഹത്തിനെ ജനപ്പിച്ചു; യഹത്ത് അഹൂമായിയെയും ലാഹദിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇവര് സോരത്യരുടെ കുലങ്ങള്.

3. ഏതാമിന്റെ അപ്പനില് നിന്നുത്ഭവിച്ചവര് ഇവര്യിസ്രെയേല്, യിശ്മാ, യിദ്ബാശ്; അവരുടെ സഹോദരിക്കു ഹസ്സെലൊല്പോനി എന്നു പേര്.

23. ഇവര് നെതായീമിലും ഗെദേരയിലും പാര്ത്ത കുശവന്മാര് ആയിരുന്നു; അവര് രാജാവിനോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ വേല ചെയ്വാന് അവിടെ പാര്ത്തു.

27. ശിമെയിക്കു പതിനാറു പുത്രന്മാരും ആറു പുത്രിമാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും അധികം മക്കളില്ലായ്കയാല് അവരുടെ കുലമെല്ലാം യെഹൂദാമക്കളോളം വര്ദ്ധിച്ചില്ല.

27. Simei had sixtene sonnes and sixe doughters, and his brethren had not many childre. And all their kynred multiplied not as the children of Iuda.

28. അവര് ബേര്-ശേബയിലും

31. ഹൊര്മ്മയിലും സിക്ളാഗിലും ബേത്ത്-മര്ക്കാബോത്തിലും ഹസര്-സൂസീമിലും ബേത്ത്-ബിരിയിലും ശയരയീമിലും പാര്ത്തു. ഇവ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാഴ്ചവരെ അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങള് ആയിരുന്നു.

32. അവരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങള്ഏതാം, അയീന് , രിമ്മോന് , തോഖെന് , ആശാന് ഇങ്ങനെ അഞ്ചു പട്ടണവും

32. And their townes, Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen, Asan, these fyue cities,

33. ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും ബാല്വരെ ഇവേക്കുള്ള സകലഗ്രാമങ്ങളും തന്നേ. ഇവ അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങള്. അവര്ക്കും സ്വന്തവംശാവലിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

33. & all the vyllages that were aboute these cities, vntyll Baal, this is their habitacion and their kynred amonge them.

34. മെശോബാബ്, യമ്ളേക്, അമസ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശാ, യോവേല്,

34. And Mesobab, Iamlech, Iosa the sonne of Amasia,

35. അസീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരായാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശിബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യേഹൂ, എല്യോവേനായി,

36. യയക്കോബാ, യെശോഹായാവു, അസായാവു, അദീയേല്, യസീമീയേല്,

36. Elioenai, Iaecoba, Iesohaia, Asaia, Adiel, Ismael and Benaia.

37. ബെനായാവു, ശെമെയാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശിമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ യെദായാവിന്റെ മകനായ അല്ലോന്റെ മകനായ ശിഫിയുടെ മകനായ സീസാ;

37. Sisa the sonne of Siphei, ye sonne of Alon, the sonne of Iedaia, the sonne of Simri, the sonne of Semaia.

38. പേര് വിവരം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവര് തങ്ങളുടെ കുലങ്ങളില് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങള് ഏറ്റവും വര്ദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു.

38. These were famous prynces in their kynreds of the house of their fathers, and multiplied in nombre.

39. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടങ്ങള്ക്കു മേച്ചല് തിരയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഗെദോര്പ്രവേശനത്തോളം താഴ്വരയുടെ കിഴക്കുവശംവരെ യാത്രചെയ്തു.

39. And they wente forth, that they might come vnto Gedor to the east syde of the valley, to seke pasture for their shepe.

40. അവര് പുഷ്ടിയുള്ളതും നല്ലതുമായ മേച്ചല് കണ്ടെത്തി; ദേശം വിസ്താരവും സ്വസ്ഥതയും സമാധാനവും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ പൂര്വ്വനിവാസികള് ഹാംവംശക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

40. And founde fat and good pasture, and a londe large on both the sydes, quyete and riche: for they of Ham dwelt there afore tyme.

41. പേര്വിവരം എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഇവര് യെഹൂദ്യരാജാവായ യഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു അവിടെ ചെന്നു അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളെയും അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മെയൂന്യരെയും ആക്രമിച്ചു, ഇന്നുവരെ അവര്ക്കും നിര്മ്മൂലനാശം വരുത്തുകയും അവിടെ തങ്ങളുടെ ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടങ്ങള്ക്കു മേച്ചല് ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവര്ക്കും പകരം പാര്ക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

41. And these that are now descrybed by name, came in the tyme of Ezechias the kynge of Iuda, and smote the tentes and dwellinges of those that were founde there, and damned them vnto this daye, and dwelt in their steade, for there had they pasture for their shepe.

42. ശിമെയോന്യരായ ഇവരില് അഞ്ഞൂറുപേര്, യിശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ, പെലത്യാവു, നെയര്യ്യാവു, രെഫായാവു, ഉസ്സീയേല് എന്നീ തലവന്മാരോടുകൂടെ സേയീര്പര്വ്വതത്തിലേക്കു യാത്രചെയ്തു.

42. There wente of them also (of the children of Simeon) fyue hundreth men vnto mount Seir, with their rulers: Platia, Nearia, Rephaia and Vsiel, the children of Iesei,

43. അവര് അമാലേക്യരില് ചാടിപ്പോയിരുന്ന ശിഷ്ടജനത്തെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു ഇന്നുവരെ അവിടെ പാര്ക്കുംന്നു.

43. and smote the remnaunt of the Amalechites (which were escaped) and dwelt there vnto this daye.
