1. അനന്തരം ലേവ്യരുടെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാര് പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയുടെയും യിസ്രായേല്ഗോത്രങ്ങളിലെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കല് വന്നു.

1. And the heads of the fathers of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel.

2. കനാന് ദേശത്തു ശീലോവില്വെച്ചു അവരോടുയഹോവ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു പാര്പ്പാന് പട്ടണങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികള്ക്കു പുല്പുറങ്ങളും തരുവാന് മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. And they spoke to them in Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, saying, Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses to give cities to us to live in, and their open land for our livestock.

3. എന്നാറെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശത്തില്നിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ലേവ്യര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

3. And the sons of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance these cities and their open land, at the mouth of Jehovah:

4. കെഹാത്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു വന്ന നറുകൂപ്രകാരം ലേവ്യരില് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിലും ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും കൂടെ പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണം കിട്ടി.

4. And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. And the sons of Aaron the priest, of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

5. കെഹാത്തിന്റെ ശേഷംമക്കള്ക്കു എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തിലും ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിലും നറുകൂപ്രകാരം പത്തുപട്ടണം കിട്ടി.

5. And the rest of the sons of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

6. ഗേര്ശോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു യിസ്സാഖാര് ഗോത്രത്തിലും ബാശാനിലെ മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിലും നറുകൂപ്രകാരം പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണംകിട്ടി.

6. And the sons of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

7. മെരാരിയുടെ മക്കള്ക്കു കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി രൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തിലും സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും കൂടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പട്ടണം കിട്ടി.

7. The sons of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

8. യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും നറുകൂ പ്രകാരം കൊടുത്തു.

8. And the sons of Israel gave by lot to the Levites these cities with their open land, as Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses.

9. അവര് യെഹൂദാമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലും ശിമെയോന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലും താഴെ പേര് പറയുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു.

9. And they gave out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, these cities which are called by name,

10. അവ ലേവിമക്കളില് കെഹാത്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളില് അഹരോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു കിട്ടി. അവര്ക്കായിരുന്നു ഒന്നാമത്തെ നറുകൂ വന്നതു.

10. which the sons of Aaron had, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the sons of Levi. For theirs was the first lot.

11. യെഹൂദാമലനാട്ടില് അവര് അനാക്കിന്റെ അപ്പനായ അര്ബ്ബയുടെ പട്ടണമായ ഹെബ്രോനും അതിന്നുചുറ്റുമുള്ള പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

11. And they gave them the City of Arba, the father of Anak (which is Hebron) in the hills of Judah, with its open lands around it.

12. എന്നാല് പട്ടണത്തോടു ചേര്ന്ന നിലങ്ങളും ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും അവര് യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിന്നു അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തു.

12. But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his own.

13. ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഹെബ്രോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ലിബ്നയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

13. So they gave Hebron and its open lands to the sons of Aaron the priest as a city of refuge for the slayer, and Libnah and its open lands,

14. യത്ഥീരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

14. and Jattir and its open lands, and Eshtemoa and its open lands,

15. എസ്തെമോവയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഹോലോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ദെബീരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

15. and Holon and its open lands, and Debir and its open lands,

16. അയീനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യുത്തയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബേത്ത്-ശേമെശും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ ആ രണ്ടു ഗോത്രങ്ങളില് ഒമ്പതു പട്ടണവും,

16. and Ain and its open lands, and Juttah and its open lands, and Beth-shemesh and its open lands; nine cities out of those two tribes.

17. ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ഗിബെയോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

17. And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon and its open lands, Geba and its open lands,

18. ഗേബയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അനാഥോത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അല്മോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും കൊടുത്തു.

18. Anathoth and its open lands, and Almon and its open lands; four cities.

19. അഹരോന്റെ മക്കളായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും എല്ലാംകൂടി പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

19. And all the cities of the sons of Aaron the priest were thirteen cities and their open land.

20. കെഹാത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം മക്കളായ ലേവ്യര്ക്കും, കെഹാത്യ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേ, നറുക്കു പ്രകാരം കിട്ടിയ പട്ടണങ്ങള് എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തില് ആയിരുന്നു.

20. And the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites who were left of the sons of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

21. എഫ്രയീംനാട്ടില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ശെഖേമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗേസെരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

21. And they gave them Shechem and its open land in Mount Ephraim as a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer and its open lands,

22. കിബ്സയീം അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബേത്ത്-ഹോരോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

22. and Kibzaim and its open lands, and Beth-horon and its open lands; four cities.

23. ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എല്തെക്കേയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗിബ്ബെഥോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

23. And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its open lands, Gibbethon and its open lands,

24. അയ്യാലോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗത്ത്-രിമ്മോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

24. Aijalon and its open lands, Gathrimmon and its open lands; four cities.

25. മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തില് താനാക്കും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗത്ത്-രിമ്മോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു പട്ടണവും അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

25. And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and its open lands, and Gathrimmon and its open lands; two cities.

26. ഇങ്ങനെ കെഹാത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം മക്കളുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു എല്ലാംകൂടി പത്തു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

26. All the cities were ten, and their open land, for the families of the sons of Kohath that were left.

27. ലേവ്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളില് ഗേര്ശോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ബാശാനിലെ ഗോലാനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബെയെസ്തെരയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

27. And to the sons of Gershon, of the families of the Levites from the half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan and its open lands as a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Beesh-terah and its open lands; two cities.

28. ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു പട്ടണവും യിസ്സാഖാര്ഗോത്രത്തില് കിശ്യോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

28. And from the tribe of Issachar they gave Kishon and its open lands, and Daberath and its open lands,

29. ദാബെരത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യര്മ്മൂത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഏന് -ഗന്നീമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

29. Jarmuth and its open lands, En-gannim and its open lands; four cities.

30. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തില് മിശാലും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അബ്ദോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

30. And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal and its open lands, Abdon and its open lands,

31. ഹെല്ക്കത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും രെഹോബും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

31. Helkath and its open lands, Rehob and its open lands; four cities.

32. നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഗലീലയിലെ കേദെശും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഹമ്മോത്ത്-ദോരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കര്ത്ഥാനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും കൊടുത്തു.

32. And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee and its open lands as a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammoth-dor and its open lands, and Kartan, and its open lands; three cities.

33. ഗേര്ശോന്യര്ക്കും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി എല്ലാംകൂടി പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

33. All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities and their open land.

34. ശേഷം ലേവ്യരില് മെരാര്യ്യകുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തില് യൊക്നെയാമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കര്ത്ഥയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

34. And to the families of the sons of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, they gave Jokneam and its open lands, and Kartah and its open lands,

35. ദിമ്നിയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും നഹലാലും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും

35. Dimnah and its open lands, Nahalal and its open lands; four cities.

36. രൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ബേസെരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

36. And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer and its open lands, and Jahazah and its open lands,

37. യഹ്സയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കെദേമോത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും മേഫാത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

37. Kedemoth and its open lands, and Mephaath and its open lands; four cities.

38. ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും മഹനയീമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

38. And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead and its open lands as a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim and its open lands,

39. ഹെശ്ബോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യസേരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ എല്ലാംകൂടി നാലു പട്ടണവും കൊടുത്തു.

39. Heshbon and its open lands, Jazer and its open lands; four cities in all.

40. അങ്ങനെ ശേഷം ലേവ്യ കുടുംബങ്ങളായ മെരാര്യ്യര്ക്കും നറുക്കു പ്രകാരം കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടിയ പട്ടണങ്ങള് എല്ലാംകൂടി പന്ത്രണ്ടു ആയിരുന്നു.

40. All the cities for the sons of Merari by their families, those left of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.

41. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അവകാശത്തില് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും എല്ലാംകൂടി നാല്പത്തെട്ടു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

41. All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the sons of Israel were forty eight cities and their open land.

42. ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളില് ഔരോന്നിന്നു ചുറ്റും പുല്പുറങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങള്ക്കൊക്കെയും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

42. These cities were every one with their open land around them. So it was to all these cities.

43. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു താന് അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു സത്യം ചെയ്ത ദേശമെല്ലാം കൊടുത്തു; അവര് അതു കൈവശമാക്കി അവിടെ കുടിപാര്ത്തു.

43. And Jehovah gave to Israel all the land which He swore to give to their fathers. And they possessed it, and lived in it.

44. യഹോവ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും ചുറ്റും അവര്ക്കും സ്വസ്ഥത നല്കി ശത്രുക്കളില് ഒരുത്തനും അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നിട്ടില്ല; യഹോവ സകല ശത്രുക്കളെയും അവരുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിച്ചു.

44. And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that He swore to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood before them. Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand.

45. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളില് ഒന്നും വൃഥാവാകാതെ സകലവും നിവൃത്തിയായി.

45. Nor did fail a word from any good word which Jehovah had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
