1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

2. നീ അഹരോനോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച കാര്യം ആവിതു

2. Speake vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes, and to all the children of Israel, and say vnto them, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, saying,

3. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തില് ആരെങ്കിലും കാളയെയോ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെയോ കോലാടിനെയോ പാളയത്തില്വെച്ചെങ്കിലും പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചെങ്കിലും അറുക്കയും

3. Whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel that killeth a bullocke, or lambe, or goate in the hoste, or that killeth it out of the hoste,

4. അതിനെ യഹോവയുടെ കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു അവന്നു രക്തപാതകമായി എണ്ണേണം; അവന് രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചു; ആ മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

4. And bringeth it not vnto the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer an offring vnto the Lord before the Tabernacle of the Lord, blood shalbe imputed vnto that man: he hath shed blood, wherefore that man shall be cut off from among his people.

5. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് വെളിന് പ്രദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അര്പ്പിച്ചു വരുന്ന യാഗങ്ങളെ യഹോവേക്കു സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

5. Therefore the children of Israel shall bring their offrings, which they would offer abroad in the fielde, and present the vnto ye Lord at the doore of the Tabernacle of ye Congregation by ye Priest, and offer them for peace offrings vnto the Lord.

6. പുരോഹിതന് അവയുടെ രക്തം സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് തളിച്ചു മേദസ്സു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

6. Then the Priest shall sprinkle the blood vpon the Altar of the Lord before the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and burne the fat for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.

7. അവര് പരസംഗമായി പിന്തുടരുന്ന ഭൂതങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇനി തങ്ങളുടെ ബലികള് അര്പ്പിക്കരുതു; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവര്ക്കും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

7. And they shall no more offer their offerings vnto deuils, after whom they haue gone a whoring: this shalbe an ordinance for euer vnto them in their generations.

8. നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും ഹോമയാഗമോ ഹനനയാഗമോ അര്പ്പിക്കയും

8. Also thou shalt say vnto them, whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which soiourne among them, that offreth a burnt offring or sacrifice,

9. അതു യഹോവേക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

9. And bringeth it not vnto ye doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer it vnto the Lord, euen that man shall be cut off from his people.

10. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും വല്ല രക്തവും ഭക്ഷിച്ചാല് രക്തം ഭക്ഷിച്ചവന്റെ നേരെ ഞാന് ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

10. Likewise whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that soiourne among them, that eateth any blood, I will euen set my face against that person that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

11. മാംസത്തിന്റെ ജീവന് രക്തത്തില് അല്ലോ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു; യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാന് ഞാന് അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; രക്തമല്ലോ ജീവന് മൂലമായി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ആകുന്നതു.

11. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I haue giuen it vnto you to offer vpon the altar, to make an atonement for your soules: for this blood shall make an atonement for the soule.

12. അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ നിങ്ങളില് യാതൊരുത്തനും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു.

12. Therefore I saide vnto ye children of Israel, None of you shall eate blood: neither the stranger that soiourneth among you, shall eate blood.

13. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും തിന്നാകുന്ന ഒരു മൃഗത്തെയോ പക്ഷിയെയോ വേട്ടയാടി പിടിച്ചാല് അവന് അതിന്റെ രക്തം കളഞ്ഞു മണ്ണിട്ടു മൂടേണം.

13. Moreouer whosoeuer he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that soiourne among the, which by hunting taketh any beast or foule that may be eaten, he shall powre out the blood thereof, and couer it with dust:

14. സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന് അതിന്റെ ജീവാധാരമായ രക്തം തന്നേ. അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടുയാതൊരു ജഡത്തിന്റെ രക്തവും നിങ്ങള് ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചതു; സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന് അതിന്റെ രക്തമല്ലോ; അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനെയെല്ലാം ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

14. For ye life of all flesh is his blood, it is ioyned with his life: therefore I sayd vnto the children of Israel, Ye shall eate the blood of no flesh: for the life of al flesh is the blood thereof: whosoeuer eateth it, shalbe cut off.

15. താനേ ചത്തതിനെയോ പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതിനെയോ തിന്നുന്നവനൊക്കെയും സ്വദേശിയായാലും പരദേശിയായാലും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി വെള്ളത്തില് കുളിക്കയും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കയും വേണം; പിന്നെ അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും.

15. And euery person that eateth it which dyeth alone, or that which is torne with beastes, whether it be one of the same countrey or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and wash himselfe in water, and be vncleane vnto the euen: after he shalbe cleane.

16. വസ്ത്രം അലക്കാതെയും ദേഹം കഴുകാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അവന് കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.

16. But if he wash them not, nor wash his flesh, then he shall beare his iniquitie.
