1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And the LORD talked with Moses saying:

2. നീ അഹരോനോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച കാര്യം ആവിതു

2. speak unto Aaron and unto his sons and unto all the children of Israel and say unto them, this is the thing which the LORD charged saying:

3. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തില് ആരെങ്കിലും കാളയെയോ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെയോ കോലാടിനെയോ പാളയത്തില്വെച്ചെങ്കിലും പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചെങ്കിലും അറുക്കയും

3. whatsoever he be of the house of Israel that killeth an ox, lamb or goat in the host or out of the host

4. അതിനെ യഹോവയുടെ കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു അവന്നു രക്തപാതകമായി എണ്ണേണം; അവന് രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചു; ആ മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

4. and bringeth them not unto the door of the tabernacle of witness, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the dwelling place of the LORD, blood shall be imputed unto that man, as though he had shed blood, and that man shall perish from among his people.

5. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് വെളിന് പ്രദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അര്പ്പിച്ചു വരുന്ന യാഗങ്ങളെ യഹോവേക്കു സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

5. Wherefore let the children of Israel bring their offerings they offer in the wide field, unto the LORD: even unto the door of the tabernacle of witness and unto the priest, and offer them for peaceofferings unto the LORD.

6. പുരോഹിതന് അവയുടെ രക്തം സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് തളിച്ചു മേദസ്സു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

6. And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD in the door of the tabernacle of witness, and burn the fat to be a sweet savour unto the LORD.

7. അവര് പരസംഗമായി പിന്തുടരുന്ന ഭൂതങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇനി തങ്ങളുടെ ബലികള് അര്പ്പിക്കരുതു; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവര്ക്കും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

7. And let them no more offer their offerings unto devils, after whom they go an whoring. And this shall be an ordinance for ever unto you thorowout your generations.

8. നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും ഹോമയാഗമോ ഹനനയാഗമോ അര്പ്പിക്കയും

8. And thou shalt say unto them: whatsoever man it be of the house of Israel or of the strangers that sojourn among you that offereth a burntoffering or any other offering,

9. അതു യഹോവേക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

9. and bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of witness to offer unto the LORD, that fellow shall perish from among his people.

10. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും വല്ല രക്തവും ഭക്ഷിച്ചാല് രക്തം ഭക്ഷിച്ചവന്റെ നേരെ ഞാന് ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

10. And whatsoever man it be of the house of Israel or of the strangers that sojourn among you that eateth any manner of blood, I will set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will destroy him from among his people,

11. മാംസത്തിന്റെ ജീവന് രക്തത്തില് അല്ലോ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു; യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാന് ഞാന് അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; രക്തമല്ലോ ജീവന് മൂലമായി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ആകുന്നതു.

11. for the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it unto you upon the altar, to make an atonement for your souls, for blood shall make an atonement for the soul.

12. അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ നിങ്ങളില് യാതൊരുത്തനും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു.

12. And therefore I said unto the children of Israel: see that no soul of you eat blood, nor yet any stranger that sojourneth among you.

13. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും തിന്നാകുന്ന ഒരു മൃഗത്തെയോ പക്ഷിയെയോ വേട്ടയാടി പിടിച്ചാല് അവന് അതിന്റെ രക്തം കളഞ്ഞു മണ്ണിട്ടു മൂടേണം.

13. Whatsoever man it be of the children of Israel or of the strangers that sojourn among you that hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten, he shall pour out the blood and cover it with earth.

14. സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന് അതിന്റെ ജീവാധാരമായ രക്തം തന്നേ. അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടുയാതൊരു ജഡത്തിന്റെ രക്തവും നിങ്ങള് ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചതു; സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന് അതിന്റെ രക്തമല്ലോ; അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനെയെല്ലാം ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

14. For the life of all flesh is in the blood, therefore I said unto the children of Israel, ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh, for the life of all flesh is in his blood, and whosoever therefore eateth it shall perish.

15. താനേ ചത്തതിനെയോ പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതിനെയോ തിന്നുന്നവനൊക്കെയും സ്വദേശിയായാലും പരദേശിയായാലും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി വെള്ളത്തില് കുളിക്കയും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കയും വേണം; പിന്നെ അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും.

15. And whatsoever soul it be that eateth that which died alone or that which was torn with wild beasts: whether it be one of your selves or a stranger, he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and shall be unclean unto the even, and then is he clean.

16. വസ്ത്രം അലക്കാതെയും ദേഹം കഴുകാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അവന് കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.

16. But and if he wash them not nor wash his flesh he shall bear his sin.
