1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2. നീ അഹരോനോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച കാര്യം ആവിതു

2. Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the sons of Israel, and say to them: This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded, saying,

3. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തില് ആരെങ്കിലും കാളയെയോ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെയോ കോലാടിനെയോ പാളയത്തില്വെച്ചെങ്കിലും പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചെങ്കിലും അറുക്കയും

3. Any man of the house of Israel, that kills an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that kills it outside the camp,

4. അതിനെ യഹോവയുടെ കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു അവന്നു രക്തപാതകമായി എണ്ണേണം; അവന് രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചു; ആ മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

4. and has not brought it to the door of the tent of meeting to make it a burnt-offering or peace-offerings for Yahweh, so as to be accepted, as a pleasing odor, but kills it outside, and does not bring it to the door of the tent of meeting to offer it as an offering for Yahweh before the tabernacle of Yahweh: blood will be imputed to that man; he has shed blood; and that man will be cut off from among his people:

5. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് വെളിന് പ്രദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അര്പ്പിച്ചു വരുന്ന യാഗങ്ങളെ യഹോവേക്കു സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

5. To the end that the sons of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, even that they may bring them to Yahweh, to the door of the tent of meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace-offerings to Yahweh.

6. പുരോഹിതന് അവയുടെ രക്തം സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് തളിച്ചു മേദസ്സു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

6. And the priest will sprinkle the blood on the altar of Yahweh at the door of the tent of meeting, and burn the fat for a sweet savor to Yahweh.

7. അവര് പരസംഗമായി പിന്തുടരുന്ന ഭൂതങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇനി തങ്ങളുടെ ബലികള് അര്പ്പിക്കരുതു; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവര്ക്കും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

7. And they will no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the he-goats, which they prostitute after. This will be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.

8. നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും ഹോമയാഗമോ ഹനനയാഗമോ അര്പ്പിക്കയും

8. And you will say to them, Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, who offers a burnt-offering or sacrifice,

9. അതു യഹോവേക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

9. and does not bring it to the door of the tent of meeting, to sacrifice it to Yahweh; that man will be cut off from his people.

10. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും വല്ല രക്തവും ഭക്ഷിച്ചാല് രക്തം ഭക്ഷിച്ചവന്റെ നേരെ ഞാന് ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

10. And any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, who eats any manner of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

11. മാംസത്തിന്റെ ജീവന് രക്തത്തില് അല്ലോ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു; യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാന് ഞാന് അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; രക്തമല്ലോ ജീവന് മൂലമായി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ആകുന്നതു.

11. For the soul of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you+ on the altar to make atonement for your+ souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the soul.

12. അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ നിങ്ങളില് യാതൊരുത്തനും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയും രക്തം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു.

12. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, No soul of you+ will eat blood, neither will any stranger who sojourns among you+ eat blood.

13. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും തിന്നാകുന്ന ഒരു മൃഗത്തെയോ പക്ഷിയെയോ വേട്ടയാടി പിടിച്ചാല് അവന് അതിന്റെ രക്തം കളഞ്ഞു മണ്ണിട്ടു മൂടേണം.

13. And any man of the sons of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, who takes in hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten; he will pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.

14. സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന് അതിന്റെ ജീവാധാരമായ രക്തം തന്നേ. അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടുയാതൊരു ജഡത്തിന്റെ രക്തവും നിങ്ങള് ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചതു; സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ജീവന് അതിന്റെ രക്തമല്ലോ; അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനെയെല്ലാം ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

14. For the soul of all flesh is its blood, which is in its living body. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, You+ will eat the blood of no manner of flesh; for the soul of all flesh is its blood: whoever eats it will be cut off.

15. താനേ ചത്തതിനെയോ പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതിനെയോ തിന്നുന്നവനൊക്കെയും സ്വദേശിയായാലും പരദേശിയായാലും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി വെള്ളത്തില് കുളിക്കയും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കയും വേണം; പിന്നെ അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും.

15. And every soul who eats that which dies of itself, or that which is torn of beasts, whether he is home-born or a sojourner, he will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then he will be clean.

16. വസ്ത്രം അലക്കാതെയും ദേഹം കഴുകാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അവന് കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.

16. But if he doesn't wash them, nor bathe his flesh, then he will bear his iniquity.
