1. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് . യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കീര്ത്തനം പാടുന്നതു നല്ലതു; അതു മനോഹരവും സ്തുതി ഉചിതവും തന്നേ.

1. Hallelujah! It's a good thing to sing praise to our God; praise is beautiful, praise is fitting.

2. യഹോവ യെരൂശലേമിനെ പണിയുന്നു; അവന് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഭ്രഷ്ടന്മാരെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ക്കുംന്നു.

2. GOD's the one who rebuilds Jerusalem, who regathers Israel's scattered exiles.

6. GOD puts the fallen on their feet again and pushes the wicked into the ditch.

7. Sing to GOD a thanksgiving hymn, play music on your instruments to God,

8. അവന് ആകാശത്തെ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു മൂടുന്നു ഭൂമിക്കായി മഴ ഒരുക്കുന്നു; അവന് പര്വ്വതങ്ങളില് പുല്ലു മുളപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

10. അശ്വബലത്തില് അവന്നു ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നുന്നില്ല; പുരുഷന്റെ ഊരുക്കളില് പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

10. He's not impressed with horsepower; the size of our muscles means little to him.

11. തന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും തന്റെ ദയയില് പ്രത്യാശ വെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരില് യഹോവ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നു.

11. Those who fear GOD get GOD's attention; they can depend on his strength.

12. യെരൂശലേമേ, യഹോവയെ പുകഴ്ത്തുക; സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്ക;

12. Jerusalem, worship GOD! Zion, praise your God!

13. അവന് നിന്റെ വാതിലുകളുടെ ഔടാമ്പലുകളെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു നിന്റെ അകത്തു നിന്റെ മക്കളെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. He made your city secure, he blessed your children among you.

14. അവന് നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു സമാധാനം വരുത്തുന്നു; വിശേഷമായ കോതമ്പുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുന്നു.

14. He keeps the peace at your borders, he puts the best bread on your tables.

15. He launches his promises earthward-- how swift and sure they come!

16. He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes,

17. He broadcasts hail like birdseed-- who can survive his winter?

18. അവന് തന്റെ വചനം അയച്ചു അവയെ ഉരുക്കുന്നു; കാറ്റു അടിപ്പിച്ചു വെള്ളത്തെ ഒഴുക്കുന്നു.
