1. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് . യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കീര്ത്തനം പാടുന്നതു നല്ലതു; അതു മനോഹരവും സ്തുതി ഉചിതവും തന്നേ.

1. Praise the everlasting. Praise ye the LORD, for it is a good thing to sing praises unto our God: yea a joyful and pleasant thing is it to be thankful.

2. യഹോവ യെരൂശലേമിനെ പണിയുന്നു; അവന് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഭ്രഷ്ടന്മാരെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ക്കുംന്നു.

2. The LORD shall build up Jerusalem, and gather together the outcasts of Israel.

3. മനംതകര്ന്നവരെ അവന് സൌഖ്യമാക്കുകയും അവരുടെ മുറിവുകളെ കെട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

3. He healeth the contrite in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

4. അവന് നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം നോക്കുന്നു; അവേക്കു ഒക്കെയും പേര് വിളിക്കുന്നു.

4. He telleth the number of the stars, he calleth them all by their names.

5. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവു വലിയവനും ശക്തിയേറിയവനും ആകുന്നു. അവന്റെ വിവേകത്തിന്നു അന്തമില്ല.

5. Great is our Lord,(LORDE) and great is his power: yea, his wisdom is infinite.

6. യഹോവ താഴ്മയുള്ളവനെ ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു; അവന് ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ നിലത്തോളം താഴ്ത്തുന്നു.

6. The LORD setteth up the meek, and bringeth the ungodly down to the ground.

7. സ്തോത്രത്തോടെ യഹോവേക്കു പാടുവിന് ; കിന്നരത്തോടെ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കീര്ത്തനം ചെയ്വിന് ;

7. O sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving, sing praises upon the harp unto our God.

8. അവന് ആകാശത്തെ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു മൂടുന്നു ഭൂമിക്കായി മഴ ഒരുക്കുന്നു; അവന് പര്വ്വതങ്ങളില് പുല്ലു മുളപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

8. Which covereth the heaven with clouds, prepareth rain for the earth, and maketh the grass to grow upon the mountains.

9. അവന് മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കും കരയുന്ന കാക്കകൂഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്ക്കും അതതിന്റെ ആഹാരം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

9. Which giveth fodder unto the cattle, and feedeth the young ravens that call upon him.

10. അശ്വബലത്തില് അവന്നു ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നുന്നില്ല; പുരുഷന്റെ ഊരുക്കളില് പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

10. He hath no pleasure in the strength of an horse, neither delighteth he in any man's legs.

11. തന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും തന്റെ ദയയില് പ്രത്യാശ വെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരില് യഹോവ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നു.

11. But the LORD's delight is in them that fear him, and put their trust in his mercy.

12. യെരൂശലേമേ, യഹോവയെ പുകഴ്ത്തുക; സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്ക;

12. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem, praise thy God O Sion.

13. അവന് നിന്റെ വാതിലുകളുടെ ഔടാമ്പലുകളെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു നിന്റെ അകത്തു നിന്റെ മക്കളെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. For he maketh fast the bars of thy gates, and blesseth the children within thee.

14. അവന് നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു സമാധാനം വരുത്തുന്നു; വിശേഷമായ കോതമ്പുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുന്നു.

14. He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the flour of wheat.

15. അവന് തന്റെ ആജ്ഞ ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു അയക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനം അതിവേഗം ഔടുന്നു.

15. He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth, his word runneth swiftly.

16. അവന് പഞ്ഞിപോലെ മഞ്ഞു പെയ്യിക്കുന്നു; ചാരംപോലെ നീഹാരം വിതറുന്നു.

16. He giveth snow like wool, and scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

17. അവന് നീര്ക്കട്ട കഷണംകഷണമായി എറിയുന്നു; അവന്റെ കുളിര് സഹിച്ചു നിലക്കുന്നവനാര്?

17. He casteth forth his ice like morsels, who is able to abide his frost?

18. അവന് തന്റെ വചനം അയച്ചു അവയെ ഉരുക്കുന്നു; കാറ്റു അടിപ്പിച്ചു വെള്ളത്തെ ഒഴുക്കുന്നു.

18. He sendeth out his word and melteth them, he bloweth with his wind, and the waters flow.

19. അവന് യാക്കോബിന്നു തന്റെ വചനവും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു തന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.
റോമർ 3:2

19. He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and ordinances unto Israel.

20. അങ്ങനെ യാതൊരു ജാതിക്കും അവന് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല; അവന്റെ വിധികളെ അവര് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുമില്ല.
