1. നിങ്ങളില് ഒരുത്തന്നു മറ്റൊരുത്തനോടു ഒരു കാര്യ്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ അല്ല, അഭക്തന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പില് വ്യവഹാരത്തിന്നു പോകുവാന് തുനിയുന്നുവോ?

1. Dare any of you, hauing businesse against an other, be iudged vnder the vniust, and not vnder the Saintes?

2. വിശുദ്ധന്മാര് ലോകത്തെ വിധിക്കും എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ലോകത്തെ നിങ്ങള് വിധിക്കുമെങ്കില് ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ സംഗതികളെ വിധിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് അയോഗ്യരോ?
ദാനീയേൽ 7:22

2. Doe ye not knowe, that the Saintes shall iudge the worlde? If the worlde then shalbe iudged by you, are ye vnworthie to iudge the smallest matters?

3. നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ വിധിക്കും എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഐഹികകാര്യ്യങ്ങളെ എത്ര അധികം?

3. Knowe ye not that we shall iudge the Angels? howe much more, things that perteine to this life?

4. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഐഹികകാര്യ്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു വ്യവഹാരം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് വിധിപ്പാന് സഭ ഗണ്യമാക്കാത്തവരെ ഇരുത്തുന്നുവോ?

4. If then ye haue iudgements of things perteining to this life, set vp them which are least esteemed in the Church.

5. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലജ്ജെക്കായി ഞാന് ചോദിക്കുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ കാര്യ്യം തീര്പ്പാന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ളോരു ജ്ഞാനിയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഇല്ലയോ?

5. I speake it to your shame. Is it so that there is not a wise man among you? no not one, that can iudge betweene his brethren?

6. അല്ല, സഹോദരന് സഹോദരനോടു വ്യവഹരിക്കുന്നു; അതും അവിശ്വാസികളുടെ മുമ്പില് തന്നേ.

6. But a brother goeth to law with a brother, and that vnder the infidels.

7. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തമ്മില് വ്യവഹാരം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതു തന്നേ കേവലം പോരായ്മയാകുന്നു; അതിന്നു പകരം നിങ്ങള് അന്യായം സഹിച്ചുകൊള്ളാത്തതു എന്തു? നഷ്ടം ഏറ്റുകൊള്ളാത്തതു എന്തു?

7. Nowe therefore there is altogether infirmitie in you, in that yee goe to lawe one with another: why rather suffer ye not wrong? why rather susteine yee not harme?

8. അല്ല, നിങ്ങള് അന്യായം ചെയ്കയും നഷ്ടം വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അതും സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും തന്നേ.

8. Nay, yee your selues doe wrong, and doe harme, and that to your brethren.

9. അന്യായം ചെയ്യുന്നവര് ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വഞ്ചിക്കാതിരിപ്പിന് ; ദുര്ന്നടപ്പുകാര്, വിഗ്രഹാരാധികള്, വ്യഭിചാരികള്, സ്വയഭോഗികള്, പുരുഷകാമികള്,

9. Knowe yee not that the vnrighteous shall not inherite the kingdome of God? Be not deceiued: neither fornicatours, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor wantons, nor buggerers,

10. കള്ളന്മാര്, അത്യാഗ്രഹികള്, മദ്യപന്മാര്, വാവിഷ്ഠാണക്കാര്, പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാര് എന്നിവര് ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല.

10. Nor theeues, nor couetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners shall inherite the kingdome of God.

11. നിങ്ങളും ചിലര് ഈ വകക്കാരായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള് കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിലും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനാലും നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ കഴുകി ശുദ്ധീകരണവും നീതീകരണവും പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

11. And such were some of you: but yee are washed, but yee are sanctified, but yee are iustified in the Name of the Lord Iesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

12. സകലത്തിന്നും എനിക്കു കര്ത്തവ്യം ഉണ്ടു എങ്കിലും സകലവും പ്രയോജനമുള്ളതല്ല; സകലത്തിന്നും എനിക്കു കര്ത്തവ്യം ഉണ്ടു എങ്കിലും ഞാന് യാതൊന്നിന്നും അധീനനാകയില്ല.

12. All thinges are lawfull vnto mee, but all thinges are not profitable. I may doe all things, but I will not be brought vnder the power of any thing.

13. ഭോജ്യങ്ങള് വയറ്റിന്നും വയറു ഭോജ്യങ്ങള്ക്കും ഉള്ളതു; എന്നാല് ദൈവം ഇതിനെയും അതിനെയും ഇല്ലായ്മയാക്കും. ശരീരമോ ദുര്ന്നടപ്പിന്നല്ല കര്ത്താവിന്നത്രേ; കര്ത്താവു ശരീരത്തിന്നും.

13. Meates are ordeined for the bellie, and the belly for the meates: but God shall destroy both it, and them. Nowe the bodie is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the bodie.

14. എന്നാല് ദൈവം കര്ത്താവിനെ ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നമ്മെയും തന്റെ ശക്തിയാല് ഉയിര്പ്പിക്കും.

14. And God hath also raised vp the Lord, and shall raise vs vp by his power.

15. നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങള് ആകുന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളെ ഞാന് എടുത്തു വേശ്യയുടെ അവയവങ്ങള് ആക്കാമോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു.

15. Knowe yee not, that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16. വേശ്യയോടു പറ്റിച്ചേരുന്നവന് അവളുമായി ഏകശരീരമാകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇരുവരും ഒരു ദേഹമായിത്തീരും എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.

16. Doe ye not knowe, that he which coupleth himselfe with an harlot, is one body? for two, sayeth he, shalbe one flesh.

17. കര്ത്താവിനോടു പറ്റിച്ചേരുന്നവനോ അവനുമായി ഏകാത്മാവു ആകുന്നു.

17. But hee that is ioyned vnto the Lord, is one spirite.

18. ദുര്ന്നടപ്പു വിട്ടു ഔടുവിന് . മനുഷ്യന് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഏതു പാപവും ശരീരത്തിന്നു പുറത്താകുന്നു. ദുര്ന്നടപ്പുകാരനോ സ്വന്തശരീരത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി പാപം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
യിരേമ്യാവു 31:9

18. Flee fornication: euery sinne that a man doeth, is without the bodie: but hee that committeth fornication, sinneth against his owne bodie.

19. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാനമായി നിങ്ങളില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ മന്ദിരമാകുന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരം എന്നും നിങ്ങളെ വിലെക്കു വാങ്ങിയിരിക്കയാല് നിങ്ങള് താന്താങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളവരല്ല എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

19. Knowe yee not, that your body is the temple of the holy Ghost, which is in you, whom ye haue of God? and yee are not your owne.

20. അകയാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരംകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുവിന് .

20. For yee are bought for a price: therefore glorifie God in your bodie, and in your spirit: for they are Gods.
