1. നിങ്ങളില് ഒരുത്തന്നു മറ്റൊരുത്തനോടു ഒരു കാര്യ്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ അല്ല, അഭക്തന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പില് വ്യവഹാരത്തിന്നു പോകുവാന് തുനിയുന്നുവോ?

1. Dare any of you, having, a matter against his brother, sue for judgment before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

2. വിശുദ്ധന്മാര് ലോകത്തെ വിധിക്കും എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ലോകത്തെ നിങ്ങള് വിധിക്കുമെങ്കില് ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ സംഗതികളെ വിധിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് അയോഗ്യരോ?
ദാനീയേൽ 7:22

2. Or know ye not that, the saints, shall judge the world? And, if, by you, the world, is to be judged, unworthy are ye of the smallest judgment-seats?

3. നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ വിധിക്കും എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഐഹികകാര്യ്യങ്ങളെ എത്ര അധികം?

3. Know ye not that we shall judge, messengers? and not, then, matters of this life?

4. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഐഹികകാര്യ്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു വ്യവഹാരം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് വിധിപ്പാന് സഭ ഗണ്യമാക്കാത്തവരെ ഇരുത്തുന്നുവോ?

4. If, then, for matters of this, life ye have judgment-seats, them who are of no account in the assembly, these, are ye seating thereupon?

5. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലജ്ജെക്കായി ഞാന് ചോദിക്കുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ കാര്യ്യം തീര്പ്പാന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ളോരു ജ്ഞാനിയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഇല്ലയോ?

5. With a view to shame you, am I speaking. So, is it possible that there is among you not so much as one wise man, who shall be able to judge between his brethren,

6. അല്ല, സഹോദരന് സഹോദരനോടു വ്യവഹരിക്കുന്നു; അതും അവിശ്വാസികളുടെ മുമ്പില് തന്നേ.

6. But, brother with brother, sueth for judgment, and that before unbelievers?

7. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തമ്മില് വ്യവഹാരം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതു തന്നേ കേവലം പോരായ്മയാകുന്നു; അതിന്നു പകരം നിങ്ങള് അന്യായം സഹിച്ചുകൊള്ളാത്തതു എന്തു? നഷ്ടം ഏറ്റുകൊള്ളാത്തതു എന്തു?

7. Already, indeed, it is an utter defeat for you, that ye are having, law-suits, one with another. Wherefore are ye not rather taking wrong? Wherefore are ye not rather suffering yourselves to be defrauded?

8. അല്ല, നിങ്ങള് അന്യായം ചെയ്കയും നഷ്ടം വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അതും സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും തന്നേ.

8. Nay! but, ye, are doing wrong, and defrauding, and that your brethren.

9. അന്യായം ചെയ്യുന്നവര് ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വഞ്ചിക്കാതിരിപ്പിന് ; ദുര്ന്നടപ്പുകാര്, വിഗ്രഹാരാധികള്, വ്യഭിചാരികള്, സ്വയഭോഗികള്, പുരുഷകാമികള്,

9. Or know ye not that, wrong-doers, shall not inherit, God's kingdom? Be not deceiving yourselves: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,

10. കള്ളന്മാര്, അത്യാഗ്രഹികള്, മദ്യപന്മാര്, വാവിഷ്ഠാണക്കാര്, പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാര് എന്നിവര് ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല.

10. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit, God's kingdom.

11. നിങ്ങളും ചിലര് ഈ വകക്കാരായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള് കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിലും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനാലും നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ കഴുകി ശുദ്ധീകരണവും നീതീകരണവും പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

11. And, these things, were some of you; but ye bathed them away, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.

12. സകലത്തിന്നും എനിക്കു കര്ത്തവ്യം ഉണ്ടു എങ്കിലും സകലവും പ്രയോജനമുള്ളതല്ല; സകലത്തിന്നും എനിക്കു കര്ത്തവ്യം ഉണ്ടു എങ്കിലും ഞാന് യാതൊന്നിന്നും അധീനനാകയില്ല.

12. All things, unto me, are allowable, but, not all things, are profitable: all things, unto me, are allowable, but, I, will not be brought under authority by any.

13. ഭോജ്യങ്ങള് വയറ്റിന്നും വയറു ഭോജ്യങ്ങള്ക്കും ഉള്ളതു; എന്നാല് ദൈവം ഇതിനെയും അതിനെയും ഇല്ലായ്മയാക്കും. ശരീരമോ ദുര്ന്നടപ്പിന്നല്ല കര്ത്താവിന്നത്രേ; കര്ത്താവു ശരീരത്തിന്നും.

13. Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods; but, God, will set aside, both it and them. The body, however, is not for fornication, but, for the Lord, and, the Lord, for the body.

14. എന്നാല് ദൈവം കര്ത്താവിനെ ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നമ്മെയും തന്റെ ശക്തിയാല് ഉയിര്പ്പിക്കും.

14. God, moreover, hath both raised up, the Lord, and will raise, us, up from among the dead through his power.

15. നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങള് ആകുന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളെ ഞാന് എടുത്തു വേശ്യയുടെ അവയവങ്ങള് ആക്കാമോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു.

15. Know ye not that, your bodies, are, members of Christ? Shall I, then, take away the members of the Christ and make them members of a harlot? Far be it!

16. വേശ്യയോടു പറ്റിച്ചേരുന്നവന് അവളുമായി ഏകശരീരമാകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇരുവരും ഒരു ദേഹമായിത്തീരും എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.

16. Or know ye not that, he that joineth himself unto the harlot, is, one body? For, saith he, the two, shall become, one flesh;

17. കര്ത്താവിനോടു പറ്റിച്ചേരുന്നവനോ അവനുമായി ഏകാത്മാവു ആകുന്നു.

17. But, he that joineth himself unto the Lord, is, one Spirit.

18. ദുര്ന്നടപ്പു വിട്ടു ഔടുവിന് . മനുഷ്യന് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഏതു പാപവും ശരീരത്തിന്നു പുറത്താകുന്നു. ദുര്ന്നടപ്പുകാരനോ സ്വന്തശരീരത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി പാപം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
യിരേമ്യാവു 31:9

18. Flee fornication! Every sin, whatsoever a man shall commit, is, outside his body, but, he that committeth fornication, bringeth sin into his own body.

19. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാനമായി നിങ്ങളില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ മന്ദിരമാകുന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരം എന്നും നിങ്ങളെ വിലെക്കു വാങ്ങിയിരിക്കയാല് നിങ്ങള് താന്താങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളവരല്ല എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

19. Or know ye not that, your body, is, a shrine of the Holy Spirit that is within you, which ye have from God? And ye are not your own;

20. അകയാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരംകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുവിന് .

20. For ye have been bought with a price! Therefore glorify God in your body.
