1. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപ ലഭിച്ചതു വ്യര്ത്ഥമായിത്തീരരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് സഹപ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരായി നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

1. We are workers together with God, so we beg you: Do not let the grace that you received from God be for nothing.

2. “പ്രസാദകാലത്തു ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളി; രക്ഷാദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു” എന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുവല്ലോ. ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു സുപ്രസാദകാലം; ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു രക്ഷാദിവസം .

2. God says, 'At the right time I heard your prayers. On the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you that the 'right time' is now, and the 'day of salvation' is now.

4. But in every way we show we are servants of God: in accepting many hard things, in troubles, in difficulties, and in great problems.

5. We are beaten and thrown into prison. We meet those who become upset with us and start riots. We work hard, and sometimes we get no sleep or food.

6. We show we are servants of God by our pure lives, our understanding, patience, and kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by true love,

7. by speaking the truth, and by God's power. We use our right living to defend ourselves against everything.

8. മാനാപമാനങ്ങളും ദുഷ്കീര്ത്തിസല്ക്കീര്ത്തികളും അനുഭവിച്ചും ചതിയന്മാരെന്നിട്ടും സത്യവാന്മാര്,

8. Some people honor us, but others blame us. Some people say evil things about us, but others say good things. Some people say we are liars, but we speak the truth.

15. How can Christ and Belial, the devil, have any agreement? What can a believer have together with a nonbeliever?

16. ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു എന്തു യോജ്യത? നാം ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയമല്ലോ. “ഞാന് അവരില് വസിക്കയും അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നടക്കയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവവും അവര് എനിക്കു ജനവും ആകും” എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അതുകൊണ്ടു “അവരുടെനടുവില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു വേര്പ്പെട്ടിരിപ്പിന് എന്നു കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അശുദ്ധമായതു ഒന്നും തൊടരുതു; എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു

16. The temple of God cannot have any agreement with idols, and we are the temple of the living God. As God said: 'I will live with them and walk with them. And I will be their God, and they will be my people.'

17. 'Leave those people, and be separate, says the Lord. Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will accept you.'
