1. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപ ലഭിച്ചതു വ്യര്ത്ഥമായിത്തീരരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് സഹപ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരായി നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

1. Working together with him, then, we entreat you not to accept the grace of God in vain.

2. “പ്രസാദകാലത്തു ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളി; രക്ഷാദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു” എന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുവല്ലോ. ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു സുപ്രസാദകാലം; ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു രക്ഷാദിവസം .

6. by purity, knowledge, forbearance, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love,

7. എന്നിവയിലും ഇടത്തും വലത്തും നീതിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങള് ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു

7. truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left;

8. മാനാപമാനങ്ങളും ദുഷ്കീര്ത്തിസല്ക്കീര്ത്തികളും അനുഭവിച്ചും ചതിയന്മാരെന്നിട്ടും സത്യവാന്മാര്,

8. in honor and dishonor, in ill repute and good repute. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true;

15. What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

16. ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു എന്തു യോജ്യത? നാം ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയമല്ലോ. “ഞാന് അവരില് വസിക്കയും അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നടക്കയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവവും അവര് എനിക്കു ജനവും ആകും” എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അതുകൊണ്ടു “അവരുടെനടുവില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു വേര്പ്പെട്ടിരിപ്പിന് എന്നു കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അശുദ്ധമായതു ഒന്നും തൊടരുതു; എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു
