1. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപ ലഭിച്ചതു വ്യര്ത്ഥമായിത്തീരരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് സഹപ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരായി നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

1. We as helpers therefore exhort you, that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

2. “പ്രസാദകാലത്തു ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളി; രക്ഷാദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു” എന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുവല്ലോ. ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു സുപ്രസാദകാലം; ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു രക്ഷാദിവസം .
യെശയ്യാ 49:8

2. For he saith: I have heard thee in a time accepted: and in the day of health,(salvation) have I succoured thee. Behold now is that well accepted time: behold now is the day of health.(salvation.)

3. ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കു ആക്ഷേപം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് ഒന്നിലും ഇടര്ച്ചെക്കു ഹേതു കൊടുക്കാതെ സകലത്തിലും ഞങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ

3. Let us give no man occasion of evil, that in our office be found no fault:(no evil spoken of)

4. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായി കാണിക്കുന്നു; ബഹുസഹിഷ്ണുത, കഷ്ടം, ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടു, സങ്കടം , തല്ലു,

4. but in all things let us behave ourselves as the ministers of God. In much patience, in afflictions, in necessity, in anguish,

5. തടവു, കലഹം, അദ്ധ്വാനം, ഉറക്കിളെപ്പു, പട്ടിണി, നിര്മ്മലത, പരിജ്ഞാനം,

5. in stripes, in prisonment, in strife,(in uproars) in labour, in watch,(watching) in fasting,

6. ദീര്ഘക്ഷമ, ദയ, പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു, നിര്വ്യാജസ്നേഹം, സത്യവചനം , ദൈവശക്തി

6. in pureness, in knowledge, in longsuffering, in kindness, in the holy ghost, in love unfeigned,

7. എന്നിവയിലും ഇടത്തും വലത്തും നീതിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങള് ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു

7. in the words of truth, in the power of God, by the armour of righteousness of the right hand and on the left hand,

8. മാനാപമാനങ്ങളും ദുഷ്കീര്ത്തിസല്ക്കീര്ത്തികളും അനുഭവിച്ചും ചതിയന്മാരെന്നിട്ടും സത്യവാന്മാര്,

8. in honour and dishonour, in evil report and good report, as deceivers and yet true,

9. ആരും അറിയാത്തവരെന്നിട്ടും എല്ലാവരും നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവര്, മരിക്കുന്നവരെന്നിട്ടും ഇതാ, ഞങ്ങള് ജീവിക്കുന്നു; ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരെന്നിട്ടും കൊല്ലപ്പെടാത്തവര്;

9. as unknown, and yet known: as dying and behold we yet live: as chastened and not killed:

10. ദുഃഖിതരെങ്കിലും എപ്പോഴും സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവര്; ദരിദ്രരെങ്കിലും പലരെയും സമ്പന്നര് ആക്കുന്നവര്; ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തവര് എങ്കിലും എല്ലാം കൈവശമുള്ളവരായിത്തന്നേ.

10. as sorrowing and yet alway merry: as poor and yet make many rich: as having no thing and yet possessing all things.

11. അല്ലയോ കൊരിന്ത്യരേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ വായി നിങ്ങളോടു തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം വിശാലമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

11. O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you. Our heart is made large:

12. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇടുക്കമില്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് അത്രേ ഇടുക്കമുള്ളതു.

12. ye are not brought into cumbrance by us, though that ye vex yourselves of a true meaning.(ye are in no strayte in us, but are in a strayte in your awne bowelles:)(Ye are in no straitness on our behalf: but where as ye are in straitness, that do ye of your own heartely meaning)

13. ഇതിന്നു പ്രതിഫലമായി നിങ്ങളും വിശാലതയുള്ളവരായിരിപ്പിന് എന്നു ഞാന് മക്കളോടു എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

13. I speak unto you as unto children, which(that) have like reward with us:(I promise you like reward with me, as to my children.)

14. നിങ്ങള് അവിശ്വാസികളോടു ഇണയല്ലാപ്പിണ കൂടരുതു; നീതിക്കും അധര്മ്മത്തിന്നും തമ്മില് എന്തോരു ചേര്ച്ച? വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നു ഇരുളോടു എന്തോരു കൂട്ടായ്മ?

14. Stretch yourselves therefore out; bear not the yoke with the unbelievers.(Set your selves therefore at large, and bear not a strangers yoke with the unbelievers) For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? What company hath light with darkness?

15. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നും ബെലീയാലിന്നും തമ്മില് എന്തു പൊരുത്തം? അല്ല, വിശ്വാസിക്കു അവിശ്വാസിയുമായി എന്തു ഔഹരി?

15. What concord hath(How agreeth) Christ with beliall? Either(Or) what part hath he that believeth(the believer) with an infidel?

16. ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു എന്തു യോജ്യത? നാം ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയമല്ലോ. “ഞാന് അവരില് വസിക്കയും അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നടക്കയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവവും അവര് എനിക്കു ജനവും ആകും” എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അതുകൊണ്ടു “അവരുടെനടുവില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു വേര്പ്പെട്ടിരിപ്പിന് എന്നു കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അശുദ്ധമായതു ഒന്നും തൊടരുതു; എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു

16. how agreeth(accordeth) the temple of God with images? And ye are the temple of the living God, as said God: I will dwell among them, and walk among them, and will be their God: and they shall be my people.

17. Wherefore come out from among them, and separate yourselves (saith the Lord) and touch none unclean thing: so will I receive you,
