1. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മനസ്സലിവു ഔര്പ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുനിങ്ങള് ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ആരാധനയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരങ്ങളെ ജീവനും വിശുദ്ധിയും ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദവുമുള്ള യാഗമായി സമര്പ്പിപ്പിന് .

1. I beseche you therfore brethren, by the mercifulnesse of God, that ye geue vp your bodyes a quicke sacrifice, holy, acceptable vnto God, [whiche is] your reasonable seruice:

2. ഈ ലോകത്തിന്നു അനുരൂപമാകാതെ നന്മയും പ്രസാദവും പൂര്ണ്ണതയുമുള്ള ദൈവഹിതം ഇന്നതെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സു പുതുക്കി രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുവിന് .

2. And fasshion not your selues lyke vnto this worlde, but be ye chaunged in your shape, by ye renuing of your minde, that ye may proue what is the wyll of God, good, and acceptable, and perfect.

3. ഭാവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മീതെ ഭാവിച്ചുയരാതെ ദൈവം അവനവന്നു വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അളവു പങ്കിട്ടതുപോലെ സുബോധമാകുംവണ്ണം ഭാവിക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാന് എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപയാല് നിങ്ങളില് ഔരോരുത്തനോടും പറയുന്നു.

3. For I say, through the grace geuen vnto me, to euery man among you, that no man esteeme of hym selfe more then he ought to esteeme: but so esteeme [hym selfe] that he behaue hymselfe discretelye, accordyng as God hath dealt to euerye man the measure of fayth.

4. ഒരു ശരീരത്തില് നമുക്കു പല അവയവങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; എല്ലാ അവയവങ്ങള്ക്കും പ്രവൃത്തി ഒന്നല്ലതാനും;

4. For as we haue many members in one body, and all members haue not one office:

5. അതുപോലെ പലരായ നാം ക്രിസ്തുവില് ഒരു ശരീരവും എല്ലാവരും തമ്മില് അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.

5. So, we beyng many, are one body in Christe, and euery one members one of another.

6. ആകയാല് നമുക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം വെവ്വേറെ വരം ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു പ്രവചനം എങ്കില് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം,

6. Seyng that we haue dyuers giftes, accordyng to the grace that is geuen vnto vs, yf any man haue the gyft, either prophesie after the measure of fayth,

7. ശുശ്രൂഷ എങ്കില് ശുശ്രൂഷയില്, ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവന് എങ്കില് ഉപദേശത്തില്, പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് എങ്കില്

7. Either office in administration, or he that teacheth in teachyng:

8. പ്രബോധനത്തില്, ദാനം ചെയ്യുവന് ഏകാഗ്രതയോടെ, ഭരിക്കുന്നവന് ഉത്സാഹത്തോടെ, കരുണചെയ്യുന്നവന് പ്രസന്നതയോടെ ആകട്ടെ.

8. Or he that exhorteth, in exhortyng, he that geueth in singlenesse, he that ruleth in diligence, he that is mercifull in chearefulnesse.

9. സ്നേഹം നിര്വ്യാജം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെതീയതിനെ വെറുത്തു നല്ലതിനോടു പറ്റിക്കൊള്വിന് .

9. Loue without dissimulation, hatyng euyll, cleauyng to good.

10. സഹോദരപ്രീതിയില് തമ്മില് സ്ഥായിപൂണ്ടു ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നതില് അന്യോന്യം മുന്നിട്ടു കൊള്വിന് .

10. Affectioned one to another with brotherly loue, in geuyng honour, go one before another.

11. ഉത്സാഹത്തില് മടുപ്പില്ലാതെ ആത്മാവില് എരിവുള്ളവരായി കര്ത്താവിനെ സേവിപ്പിന് .

11. Not lither in businesse, feruent in spirite, seruyng the Lorde,

12. ആശയില് സന്തോഷിപ്പിന് ;

12. Reioycyng in hope, pacient in trouble, instant in prayer,

13. കഷ്ടതയില് സഹിഷ്ണുത കാണിപ്പിന് ; പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് ഉറ്റിരിപ്പിന് ; വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളില് കൂട്ടായ്മ കാണിക്കയും അതിഥിസല്ക്കാരം ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്വിന് .

13. Distributyng to ye necessitie of saintes, geuen to hospitalitie.

14. നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവരെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് ; ശപിക്കാതെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് .

14. Blesse them which persecute you, blesse, and curse not.

15. സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കയും കരയുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ കരകയും ചെയ്വിന് .

15. Reioyce with them that do reioyce, and wepe with them that wepe.

16. തമ്മില് ഐകമത്യമുള്ളവരായി വലിപ്പം ഭാവിക്കാതെ എളിയവരോടു ചേര്ന്നുകൊള്വിന് ; നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാര് എന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുതു.

18. If it be possible, as much as lyeth in you, lyue peaceably with all men.

19. പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാതെ ദൈവകോപത്തിന്നു ഇടംകൊടുപ്പിന് ; പ്രതികാരം എനിക്കുള്ളതു; ഞാന് പകരം ചെയ്യും എന്നു കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു, എന്നാല്

19. Dearely beloued, auenge not your selues, but rather geue place vnto wrath. For it is written: Uengeaunce is myne, I wyll repay sayth the Lorde.

21. Be not ouercome of euyll, but ouercome euyll with good.
