1. അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. The LORD said to Moses:

2. ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി നീ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കേണം.

2. Set up my tent on the first day of the year

3. സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം അതില് വെച്ചു തിരശ്ശീലകൊണ്ടു പെട്ടകം മറെക്കേണം.

3. and put the chest with the Ten Commandments behind the inside curtain of the tent.

4. മേശ കോണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ സാധനങ്ങള് ക്രമത്തില് വെക്കേണം. നിലവിളകൂ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ ദീപം കൊളുത്തേണം.

4. Bring in the table and set on it those things that are made for it. Also bring in the lampstand and attach the lamps to it.

5. ധൂപത്തിന്നുള്ള പൊമ്പീഠം സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് വെച്ചു തിരുനിവാസവാതിലിന്റെ മിറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

5. Then place the gold altar of incense in front of the sacred chest and hang a curtain at the entrance to the tent.

6. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുമ്പില് ഹോമയാഗപീഠം വെക്കേണം.

6. Set the altar for burning sacrifices in front of the entrance to my tent.

7. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് തൊട്ടി വെച്ചു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കേണം.

7. Put the large bronze bowl between the tent and the altar and fill the bowl with water.

8. ചുറ്റും പ്രാകാരം നിവിര്ത്തു പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

8. Surround the tent and the altar with the wall of curtains and hang the curtain that was made for the entrance.

9. അഭിഷേകതൈലം എടുത്തു തിരുനിവാസവും അതിലുള്ള സകലവും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു അതും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം;

9. Use the sacred olive oil to dedicate the tent and everything in it to me.

10. ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു യാഗപീഠം ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം; യാഗപീഠം അതിവിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

10. Do the same thing with the altar for offering sacrifices and its equipment

11. തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

11. and with the bowl and its stand.

12. അഹരോനെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവരെ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു കഴുകേണം.

12. Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent and have them wash themselves.

13. അഹരോനെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു, എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

13. Dress Aaron in the priestly clothes, then use the sacred olive oil to ordain him and dedicate him to me as my priest.

14. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ വരുത്തി അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിച്ചു,

14. Put the priestly robes on Aaron's sons

15. എനിക്കു പുരോഹിത ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ അപ്പനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യേണം; അവരുടെ അഭിഷേകം ഹേതുവായി അവര്ക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിത്യ പൌരോഹിത്യം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

15. and ordain them in the same way, so they and their descendants will always be my priests.

16. മോശെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് ചെയ്തു.

16. Moses followed the LORD's instructions.

17. ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തു.

17. And on the first day of the first month of the second year, the sacred tent was set up.

18. മോശെ തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കുംകയും അതിന്റെ ചുവടു ഉറപ്പിക്കയും പലക നിറുത്തുകയും അന്താഴം ചെലുത്തുകയും തൂണ് നാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

18. The posts, stands, and framework were put in place,

19. അവന് മൂടുവിരി തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് വിരിച്ചു അതിന്മീതെ മൂടുവിരിയുടെ പുറമൂടിയും വിരിച്ചു; യഹോവാ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

19. then the two layers of coverings were hung over them.

20. അവന് സാക്ഷ്യം എടുത്തു പെട്ടകത്തില് വെച്ചു; പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തി പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മീതെ കൃപാസനം വെച്ചു.

20. The stones with the Ten Commandments written on them were stored in the sacred chest, the place of mercy was put on top of it, and the carrying poles were attached.

21. പെട്ടകം തിരുനിവാസത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു മറയുടെ തിരശ്ശീല തൂക്കി സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം മറെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

21. The chest was brought into the tent and set behind the curtain in the most holy place. These things were done exactly as the LORD had commanded Moses.

22. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തു തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തായി മേശവെച്ചു.

22. The table for the sacred bread was put along the north wall of the holy place,

23. അതിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അപ്പം അടുക്കിവെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

23. after which the bread was set on the table.

24. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് മോശെക്കു നേരെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ തെക്കുവശത്തു നിലവിളകൂ വെക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ദീപം കൊളുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു;

24. The lampstand was put along the south wall,

25. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

25. then the lamps were attached to it there in the presence of the LORD.

26. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരശ്ശീലയുടെ മുന് വശത്തു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ധൂപപീഠം വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം ധൂപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു;

26. The gold incense altar was set up in front of the curtain,

27. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

27. and sweet-smelling incense was burned on it. These things were done exactly as the LORD had commanded Moses.

28. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി.

28. The curtain was hung at the entrance to the sacred tent.

29. ഹോമയാഗപീഠം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുന് വശത്തു വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

29. Then the altar for offering sacrifices was put in front of the tent, and animal sacrifices and gifts of grain were offered there.

30. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് അവന് തൊട്ടിവെക്കയും കഴുകേണ്ടതിന്നു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

30. The large bronze bowl was placed between the altar and the entrance to the tent. It was filled with water,

31. മോശെയും അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അതില് കയ്യും കാലും കഴുകി.

31. then Moses and Aaron, together with Aaron's sons, washed their hands and feet.

32. അവര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് കടക്കുമ്പോഴും യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കല് ചെല്ലുമ്പോഴും കൈകാലുകള് കഴുകും; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

32. In fact, they washed each time before entering the tent or offering sacrifices at the altar. These things were done exactly as the LORD had commanded Moses.

33. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റം പ്രാകാരം നിറുത്തി; പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി. ഇങ്ങനെ മോശെ പ്രവൃത്തി സമാപിച്ചു.

33. Finally, Moses had the curtain hung around the courtyard.

34. അപ്പോള് മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തെ മൂടി, യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെച്ചു.

34. Suddenly the sacred tent was covered by a thick cloud and filled with the glory of the LORD.

35. മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്മേല് അധിവസിക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെക്കു അകത്തു കടപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

35. And so, Moses could not enter the tent.

36. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും മേഘം തിരുനിവസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു ഉയരുമ്പോള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

36. Whenever the cloud moved from the tent, the people would break camp and follow;

37. മേഘം ഉയരാതിരുന്നാല് അതു ഉയരുംനാള്വരെ അവര് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടാതിരിക്കും.

37. then they would set up camp and stay there, until it moved again.

38. യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും അവരെല്ലാവരും കാണ്കെ പകല് സമയത്തു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘവും രാത്രിസമയത്തു അതില് അഗ്നിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

38. No matter where the people traveled, the LORD was with them. Each day his cloud was over the tent, and each night a fire could be seen in the cloud.
