1. അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. Then the Lord said to Moses,

2. ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി നീ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കേണം.

2. 'Set up the holy tent, the Tent of Meeting. Set it up on the first day of the first month.

3. സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം അതില് വെച്ചു തിരശ്ശീലകൊണ്ടു പെട്ടകം മറെക്കേണം.

3. 'Place in it the ark where the tablets of the covenant are kept. Screen the ark with the curtain.

4. മേശ കോണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ സാധനങ്ങള് ക്രമത്തില് വെക്കേണം. നിലവിളകൂ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ ദീപം കൊളുത്തേണം.

4. Bring in the table for the holy bread. Arrange the loaves of bread on it. Then bring in the lampstand. Set up its lamps.

5. ധൂപത്തിന്നുള്ള പൊമ്പീഠം സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് വെച്ചു തിരുനിവാസവാതിലിന്റെ മിറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

5. Place the gold altar for burning incense in front of the ark where the tablets of the covenant are kept. Put up the curtain at the entrance to the holy tent.

6. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുമ്പില് ഹോമയാഗപീഠം വെക്കേണം.

6. 'Place the altar for burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the holy tent, the Tent of Meeting.

7. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് തൊട്ടി വെച്ചു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കേണം.

7. Place the large bowl between the Tent of Meeting and the altar. Put water in the bowl.

8. ചുറ്റും പ്രാകാരം നിവിര്ത്തു പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

8. 'Set up the courtyard around the holy tent. Put the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard.

9. അഭിഷേകതൈലം എടുത്തു തിരുനിവാസവും അതിലുള്ള സകലവും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു അതും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം;

9. 'Get the anointing oil. Anoint the holy tent and everything that is in it. Set apart the holy tent and everything that belongs to it. Then it will be holy.

10. ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു യാഗപീഠം ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം; യാഗപീഠം അതിവിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

10. Anoint the altar for burnt offerings and all of its tools. Set the altar apart. Then it will be a very holy place.

11. തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

11. Anoint the large bowl and its stand. Set them apart.

12. അഹരോനെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവരെ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു കഴുകേണം.

12. 'Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Wash them with water.

13. അഹരോനെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു, എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

13. Dress Aaron in the sacred clothes. Anoint him and set him apart. Then he will be able to serve me as priest.

14. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ വരുത്തി അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിച്ചു,

14. 'Bring his sons and dress them in their inner robes.

15. എനിക്കു പുരോഹിത ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ അപ്പനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യേണം; അവരുടെ അഭിഷേകം ഹേതുവായി അവര്ക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിത്യ പൌരോഹിത്യം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

15. Anoint them just as you anointed their father. Then they will be able to serve me as priests. They will be anointed to do the work of priests. That work will last for all time to come.'

16. മോശെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് ചെയ്തു.

16. Moses did everything just as the Lord had commanded him.

17. ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തു.

17. So the holy tent was set up. It was the first day of the first month in the second year.

18. മോശെ തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കുംകയും അതിന്റെ ചുവടു ഉറപ്പിക്കയും പലക നിറുത്തുകയും അന്താഴം ചെലുത്തുകയും തൂണ് നാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

18. Moses set up the holy tent. He put the bases in place. He put the frames in them. He put in the crossbars. He set up the posts.

19. അവന് മൂടുവിരി തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് വിരിച്ചു അതിന്മീതെ മൂടുവിരിയുടെ പുറമൂടിയും വിരിച്ചു; യഹോവാ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

19. He spread the holy tent over the frames. Then he put the coverings over the tent. Moses did it as the Lord had commanded him.

20. അവന് സാക്ഷ്യം എടുത്തു പെട്ടകത്തില് വെച്ചു; പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തി പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മീതെ കൃപാസനം വെച്ചു.

20. He got the tablets of the covenant. He placed them in the ark. He put the poles through its rings. And he put the cover on it. The cover was the place where sin is paid for.

21. പെട്ടകം തിരുനിവാസത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു മറയുടെ തിരശ്ശീല തൂക്കി സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം മറെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

21. Moses brought the ark into the holy tent. He hung the curtain to screen the ark where the tablets of the covenant are kept. Moses did it as the Lord had commanded him.

22. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തു തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തായി മേശവെച്ചു.

22. He placed the table for the holy bread in the Tent of Meeting. It was on the north side of the holy tent outside the curtain.

23. അതിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അപ്പം അടുക്കിവെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

23. He arranged the loaves of bread on it in the sight of the Lord. Moses did it as the Lord had commanded him.

24. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് മോശെക്കു നേരെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ തെക്കുവശത്തു നിലവിളകൂ വെക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ദീപം കൊളുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു;

24. He placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting. It stood across from the table on the south side of the holy tent.

25. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

25. He set up the lamps in the sight of the Lord. Moses did it as the Lord had commanded him.

26. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരശ്ശീലയുടെ മുന് വശത്തു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ധൂപപീഠം വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം ധൂപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു;

26. He placed the gold altar for burning incense in the Tent of Meeting. He placed it in front of the curtain.

27. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

27. He burned sweet-smelling incense on it. Moses did it as the Lord had commanded him.

28. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി.

28. Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the holy tent.

29. ഹോമയാഗപീഠം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുന് വശത്തു വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

29. He set the altar for burnt offerings near the entrance to the holy tent, the Tent of Meeting. He sacrificed burnt offerings and grain offerings on it. Moses did it as the Lord had commanded him.

30. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് അവന് തൊട്ടിവെക്കയും കഴുകേണ്ടതിന്നു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

30. He placed the large bowl between the Tent of Meeting and the altar. He put water in the bowl for washing.

31. മോശെയും അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അതില് കയ്യും കാലും കഴുകി.

31. Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet.

32. അവര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് കടക്കുമ്പോഴും യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കല് ചെല്ലുമ്പോഴും കൈകാലുകള് കഴുകും; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

32. They washed when they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar. They did it as the Lord had commanded Moses.

33. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റം പ്രാകാരം നിറുത്തി; പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി. ഇങ്ങനെ മോശെ പ്രവൃത്തി സമാപിച്ചു.

33. Then Moses set up the courtyard around the holy tent and altar. He put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses completed the work.

34. അപ്പോള് മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തെ മൂടി, യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെച്ചു.

34. Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting. The glory of the Lord filled the holy tent.

35. മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്മേല് അധിവസിക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെക്കു അകത്തു കടപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

35. Moses couldn't enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled on it. The glory of the Lord filled the holy tent.

36. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും മേഘം തിരുനിവസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു ഉയരുമ്പോള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

36. The people of Israel continued their travels. When the cloud lifted from above the holy tent, they started out.

37. മേഘം ഉയരാതിരുന്നാല് അതു ഉയരുംനാള്വരെ അവര് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടാതിരിക്കും.

37. But if the cloud didn't lift, they did not start out. They stayed until the day it lifted.

38. യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും അവരെല്ലാവരും കാണ്കെ പകല് സമയത്തു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘവും രാത്രിസമയത്തു അതില് അഗ്നിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

38. So the cloud of the Lord was above the holy tent during the day. Fire was in the cloud at night. The whole community of Israel could see the cloud during all of their travels.
