1. അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the LORD spake unto Moses saying:

2. ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി നീ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കേണം.

2. In the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the habitation of the tabernacle of witness,

3. സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം അതില് വെച്ചു തിരശ്ശീലകൊണ്ടു പെട്ടകം മറെക്കേണം.

3. and put therein the ark of witness, and cover the ark with the vail,

4. മേശ കോണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ സാധനങ്ങള് ക്രമത്തില് വെക്കേണം. നിലവിളകൂ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ ദീപം കൊളുത്തേണം.

4. and bring in the table and apparel it, and bring in the candlestick and put on his lamps,

5. ധൂപത്തിന്നുള്ള പൊമ്പീഠം സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് വെച്ചു തിരുനിവാസവാതിലിന്റെ മിറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

5. and set the cense altar of gold before the ark of witness, and put the hanging of the door unto the habitation.

6. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുമ്പില് ഹോമയാഗപീഠം വെക്കേണം.

6. And set the burnt offering altar before the door of the tabernacle of witness,

7. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് തൊട്ടി വെച്ചു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കേണം.

7. and set the laver between the tabernacle of witness, and the altar, and put water therein,

8. ചുറ്റും പ്രാകാരം നിവിര്ത്തു പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

8. and make the court round about, and set up the hanging of the court gate.

9. അഭിഷേകതൈലം എടുത്തു തിരുനിവാസവും അതിലുള്ള സകലവും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു അതും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം;

9. And take the anointing oil and anoint the habitation and all that is therein, and hallow it and all that belong thereto: that it may be holy.

10. ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു യാഗപീഠം ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം; യാഗപീഠം അതിവിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

10. And anoint the altar of the burnt offerings and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar that it may be most holy.

11. തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

11. And anoint also the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.

12. അഹരോനെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവരെ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു കഴുകേണം.

12. Then bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of witness, and wash them with water.

13. അഹരോനെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു, എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

13. And put upon Aaron the holy vestments.

14. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ വരുത്തി അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിച്ചു,

14. And anoint him and sanctify him that he may minister unto me,

15. എനിക്കു പുരോഹിത ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ അപ്പനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യേണം; അവരുടെ അഭിഷേകം ഹേതുവായി അവര്ക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിത്യ പൌരോഹിത്യം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

15. that their anointing may be an everlasting priesthood unto them thorowout their generations.

16. മോശെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് ചെയ്തു.

16. And Moses did according to all that the LORD commanded him.

17. ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തു.

17. Thus was the tabernacle reared up the first month in the second year.

18. മോശെ തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കുംകയും അതിന്റെ ചുവടു ഉറപ്പിക്കയും പലക നിറുത്തുകയും അന്താഴം ചെലുത്തുകയും തൂണ് നാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

18. And Moses reared up the tabernacle and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards and put in their bars, and reared up the pillars,

19. അവന് മൂടുവിരി തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് വിരിച്ചു അതിന്മീതെ മൂടുവിരിയുടെ പുറമൂടിയും വിരിച്ചു; യഹോവാ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

19. and spread abroad the tent over the habitation and put the covering of the tent on high(an hye) above it: as the LORD commanded Moses.

20. അവന് സാക്ഷ്യം എടുത്തു പെട്ടകത്തില് വെച്ചു; പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തി പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മീതെ കൃപാസനം വെച്ചു.

20. And he took and put the testimony in the ark, and set the staves to the ark and put the mercy seat on high(an hye) upon the ark,

21. പെട്ടകം തിരുനിവാസത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു മറയുടെ തിരശ്ശീല തൂക്കി സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം മറെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

21. and brought the ark into the habitation and hanged up the vail and covered the ark of witness, as the LORD commanded Moses.

22. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തു തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തായി മേശവെച്ചു.

22. And he put the table in the tabernacle of witness in the north side of the habitation without the vail,

23. അതിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അപ്പം അടുക്കിവെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

23. and set the bread in order before the LORD, even as the LORD had commanded Moses.

24. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് മോശെക്കു നേരെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ തെക്കുവശത്തു നിലവിളകൂ വെക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ദീപം കൊളുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു;

24. And he put the candlestick in the tabernacle of witness over against the table in the south side of the habitation,

25. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

25. and set up the lamps before the LORD: as the LORD commanded Moses.

26. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരശ്ശീലയുടെ മുന് വശത്തു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ധൂപപീഠം വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം ധൂപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു;

26. And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of witness before the vail,

27. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

27. and brent sweet cense thereon as the LORD commanded Moses.

28. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി.

28. And set up the hanging in the door of the habitation,

29. ഹോമയാഗപീഠം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുന് വശത്തു വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

29. and set the burnt offering altar before the door of the tabernacle of witness, and offered burnt offerings and meat offerings thereon as the LORD commanded Moses.

30. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് അവന് തൊട്ടിവെക്കയും കഴുകേണ്ടതിന്നു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

30. And he set the laver between the tabernacle of witness and the altar, and poured water therein to wash with all.

31. മോശെയും അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അതില് കയ്യും കാലും കഴുകി.

31. And both Moses Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:

32. അവര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് കടക്കുമ്പോഴും യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കല് ചെല്ലുമ്പോഴും കൈകാലുകള് കഴുകും; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

32. both when they went into the tabernacle of witness, or when they went to the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses.

33. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റം പ്രാകാരം നിറുത്തി; പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി. ഇങ്ങനെ മോശെ പ്രവൃത്തി സമാപിച്ചു.

33. And he reared up the court round about the habitation and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate: and so Moses finished the work.

34. അപ്പോള് മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തെ മൂടി, യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെച്ചു.

34. And the cloud covered the tabernacle of witness, and the glory of the LORD filled the habitation:

35. മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്മേല് അധിവസിക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെക്കു അകത്തു കടപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

35. so that Moses could not enter into the tabernacle of witness, because the cloud abode therein, and the glory of the LORD filled the habitation.

36. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും മേഘം തിരുനിവസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു ഉയരുമ്പോള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

36. When the cloud was taken up from off the habitation, the children of Israel took their journeys as oft as they journeyed.

37. മേഘം ഉയരാതിരുന്നാല് അതു ഉയരുംനാള്വരെ അവര് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടാതിരിക്കും.

37. And if the cloud departed not, they journeyed not till it departed:

38. യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും അവരെല്ലാവരും കാണ്കെ പകല് സമയത്തു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘവും രാത്രിസമയത്തു അതില് അഗ്നിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

38. for the cloud of the LORD was upon the habitation by day, and fire by night: in the sight of all the house of Israel in all their journeys. [The end of the second book of Moses.]
