1. അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. The Lord said to Moses,

2. ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി നീ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കേണം.

2. 'Set up the holy tent, the meeting tent, on the first day of the first month.

3. സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം അതില് വെച്ചു തിരശ്ശീലകൊണ്ടു പെട്ടകം മറെക്കേണം.

3. Put the special box of the Law there. And hang the curtain in front of it.

4. മേശ കോണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ സാധനങ്ങള് ക്രമത്തില് വെക്കേണം. നിലവിളകൂ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ ദീപം കൊളുത്തേണം.

4. Bring in the table and set its objects on it. Bring in the lamp-stand and light its lamps.

5. ധൂപത്തിന്നുള്ള പൊമ്പീഠം സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് വെച്ചു തിരുനിവാസവാതിലിന്റെ മിറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

5. Set the gold altar of special perfume in front of the box of the Law. Hang the curtain for the door of the meeting tent.

6. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുമ്പില് ഹോമയാഗപീഠം വെക്കേണം.

6. Set the altar of burnt gifts in front of the door of the holy tent, the meeting tent.

7. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് തൊട്ടി വെച്ചു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കേണം.

7. Set the washing pot between the meeting tent and the altar and put water in it.

8. ചുറ്റും പ്രാകാരം നിവിര്ത്തു പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

8. Hang the curtains all around the open space and hang the curtain at the gate of the open space.

9. അഭിഷേകതൈലം എടുത്തു തിരുനിവാസവും അതിലുള്ള സകലവും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു അതും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം;

9. Then take the oil and pour it upon the meeting tent and all that is in it. Set it apart with all its objects, and it will be holy.

10. ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു യാഗപീഠം ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം; യാഗപീഠം അതിവിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

10. Pour the oil upon the altar of burnt gifts and all its objects. Set the altar apart, and it will be most holy.

11. തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

11. Pour the oil upon the washing pot and its stand, to set it apart.

12. അഹരോനെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവരെ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു കഴുകേണം.

12. 'Then bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the meeting tent. And wash them with water.

13. അഹരോനെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു, എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

13. Put the holy clothing on Aaron. Then pour oil upon him and set him apart to work for Me as a religious leader.

14. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ വരുത്തി അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിച്ചു,

14. Bring his sons and put long coats on them.

15. എനിക്കു പുരോഹിത ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ അപ്പനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യേണം; അവരുടെ അഭിഷേകം ഹേതുവായി അവര്ക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിത്യ പൌരോഹിത്യം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

15. Then pour oil upon them as you have done to their father, so they may serve Me as religious leaders. Pouring oil upon them will make them ready to be religious leaders, they and all their children-to-come.'

16. മോശെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് ചെയ്തു.

16. Moses did all that the Lord told him to do.

17. ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തു.

17. On the first day of the first month of the second year, the meeting tent was set up.

18. മോശെ തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കുംകയും അതിന്റെ ചുവടു ഉറപ്പിക്കയും പലക നിറുത്തുകയും അന്താഴം ചെലുത്തുകയും തൂണ് നാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

18. Moses set up the meeting tent, laid the bases, set up its pieces of wood, put in its cross-pieces and set up its pillars.

19. അവന് മൂടുവിരി തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് വിരിച്ചു അതിന്മീതെ മൂടുവിരിയുടെ പുറമൂടിയും വിരിച്ചു; യഹോവാ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

19. He spread the covering over the meeting tent. And he put the top covering over it, just as the Lord had told Moses.

20. അവന് സാക്ഷ്യം എടുത്തു പെട്ടകത്തില് വെച്ചു; പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തി പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മീതെ കൃപാസനം വെച്ചു.

20. Then he took the Law and put it into the special box. He put the long pieces of wood on the special box of the agreement. And he put the mercy-seat on top of the special box.

21. പെട്ടകം തിരുനിവാസത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു മറയുടെ തിരശ്ശീല തൂക്കി സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം മറെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

21. He brought the special box into the meeting tent and hung the curtain. He put the curtain in front of the special box of the agreement, just as the Lord had told Moses.

22. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തു തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തായി മേശവെച്ചു.

22. Then he put the table in the meeting tent, on the north side of the tent, outside the curtain.

23. അതിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അപ്പം അടുക്കിവെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

23. He set the bread in its place on the table before the Lord, just as the Lord had told Moses.

24. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് മോശെക്കു നേരെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ തെക്കുവശത്തു നിലവിളകൂ വെക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ദീപം കൊളുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു;

24. Then he put the lamp-stand in the meeting tent, away from the table, on the south side of the tent.

25. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

25. He set up the lamps before the Lord, just as the Lord had told Moses.

26. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരശ്ശീലയുടെ മുന് വശത്തു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ധൂപപീഠം വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം ധൂപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു;

26. He put the gold altar in the tent of meeting, in front of the curtain.

27. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

27. And he burned sweet-smelling perfume on it, just as the Lord had told Moses.

28. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി.

28. Then he hung the curtain at the door of the meeting tent.

29. ഹോമയാഗപീഠം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുന് വശത്തു വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

29. He set the altar of burnt gifts in front of the door of the meeting tent. And he gave the burnt gift and the grain gift on it, just as the Lord had told Moses.

30. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് അവന് തൊട്ടിവെക്കയും കഴുകേണ്ടതിന്നു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

30. He put the washing pot between the tent of meeting and the altar, with water in it for washing.

31. മോശെയും അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അതില് കയ്യും കാലും കഴുകി.

31. Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and feet there.

32. അവര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് കടക്കുമ്പോഴും യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കല് ചെല്ലുമ്പോഴും കൈകാലുകള് കഴുകും; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

32. They washed when they came into the tent of meeting and when they came near the altar, just as the Lord had told Moses.

33. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റം പ്രാകാരം നിറുത്തി; പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി. ഇങ്ങനെ മോശെ പ്രവൃത്തി സമാപിച്ചു.

33. He made the open space all around the meeting tent and the altar. And he hung the curtain for the gate of the open space. So Moses finished the work.

34. അപ്പോള് മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തെ മൂടി, യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെച്ചു.

34. Then the cloud covered the meeting tent. The shining-greatness of the Lord filled the holy tent.

35. മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്മേല് അധിവസിക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെക്കു അകത്തു കടപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

35. Moses was not able to go into the meeting tent because the cloud had rested upon it and the shining-greatness of the Lord filled the holy tent.

36. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും മേഘം തിരുനിവസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു ഉയരുമ്പോള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

36. When the cloud was lifted from the meeting tent, the people of Israel would go on their way through all their traveling days.

37. മേഘം ഉയരാതിരുന്നാല് അതു ഉയരുംനാള്വരെ അവര് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടാതിരിക്കും.

37. But when the cloud was not lifted, they did not move on until the day when it was lifted.

38. യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും അവരെല്ലാവരും കാണ്കെ പകല് സമയത്തു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘവും രാത്രിസമയത്തു അതില് അഗ്നിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

38. For the cloud of the Lord rested on the meeting tent during the day. And fire was in the cloud during the night. It was seen by all the people of Israel as they traveled.
