1. എന്നാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷിച്ചതും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ചതും നിങ്ങള് നിലക്കുന്നതും നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചതും വൃഥാവല്ലെന്നു വരികില് നിങ്ങള് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുമായ സുവിശേഷം നിങ്ങള് പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാല് ഞാന് ഇന്നവിധം നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്പ്പിക്കുന്നു.

1. Moreover, brethren, I make known unto you The joyful message, which I myself announced to you, which also ye received, in which also ye stand;

2. ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളിന് പ്രകാരം മരിച്ചു അടക്കപ്പെട്ടു

2. Through which also ye are being saved, if ye hold fast, with what discourse, I announced the joyful message unto you; unless indeed, in vain, ye believed.

3. For I delivered unto you, among the first things, what also I received: how that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures,

4. പിന്നെ പന്തിരുവര്ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാന് ഗ്രഹിച്ചതു തന്നേ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആദ്യമായി ഏല്പിച്ചുതന്നുവല്ലോ.

4. And that he was buried, and that he hath been raised, on the third day, according to the Scriptures,

5. അനന്തരം അവന് അഞ്ഞൂറ്റില് അധികം സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും ഒരുമിച്ചു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; അവര് മിക്കപേരും ഇന്നുവരെ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; ചിലരോ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. And that he appeared unto Cephas, then, to the twelve,

6. അനന്തരം അവന് യാക്കോബിന്നും പിന്നെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര്ക്കും എല്ലാവര്ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.

6. After that, he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom, the greater number, remain until even now, but, some, have fallen asleep,

7. എല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഒടുവില് അകാലപ്രജപോലെയുള്ള എനിക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി;

7. After that, he appeared unto James, then, unto all the apostles,

8. ഞാന് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരില് ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയവനല്ലോ; ദൈവസഭയെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചതിനാല് അപ്പൊസ്തലന് എന്ന പേരിന്നു യോഗ്യനുമല്ല.

8. And, last of all, just as if unto the unseasonable birth, he appeared, even unto me;

9. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് ആകുന്നതു ദൈവകൃപയാല് ആകുന്നു; എന്നോടുള്ള അവന്റെ കൃപ വ്യര്ത്ഥമായതുമില്ല; അവരെല്ലാവരെക്കാളും ഞാന് അത്യന്തം അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് ഞാനല്ല എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ദൈവകൃപയത്രേ.

9. For, I, am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.

10. ഞാനാകട്ടെ അവരാകട്ടെ ഇവ്വണ്ണം ഞങ്ങള് പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു; ഇവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. But, by favour of God, I am what I am, and, his favour, which was unto me, hath not been made void, but, much more abundantly than they all, have I toiled, albeit not, I, but the favour of God with me.

11. ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നു പ്രസംഗിച്ചുവരുന്ന അവസ്ഥെക്കു മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങളില് ചിലര് പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

11. Whether therefore, I, or, they, thus do we proclaim, and, thus did ye believe.

12. മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുവും ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിട്ടില്ല

12. Now, if, Christ is proclaimed, that, from among the dead, he hath been raised, how say some, among you resurrection of the dead, there is none?

13. ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിട്ടില്ലെങ്കില് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രസംഗം വ്യര്ത്ഥം; നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസവും വ്യര്ത്ഥം.

13. But, if, resurrection of the dead, there is none, not even Christ, hath been raised;

14. മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ല എന്നു വരികില് ദൈവം ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ അവന് ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചു എന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷ്യം പറകയാല് ഞങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തിന്നു കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷികള് എന്നു വരും.

14. And, if Christ, hath not been raised, void, after all, is our proclamation, void also, our faith,

15. മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ല എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുവും ഉയിര്ത്തിട്ടില്ല.

15. And we are found, even false-witnesses of God, because we have witnessed respecting God, that he raised the Christ, whom he did not raise, if, indeed, after all, the dead are not raised!

16. ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിര്ത്തിട്ടില്ല എങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം വ്യര്ത്ഥമത്രേ; നിങ്ങള് ഇന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

16. For, if the dead are not raised, not even Christ, hath been raised;

17. ക്രിസ്തുവില് നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവരും നശിച്ചുപോയി.

17. And, if Christ hath not been raised, to no purpose, is your faith, yet, are ye in your sins!

18. നാം ഈ ആയുസ്സില് മാത്രം ക്രിസ്തുവില് പ്രത്യാശ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് സകല മനുഷ്യരിലും അരിഷ്ടന്മാരത്രേ.

18. Hence also, they who are fallen asleep in Christ, are lost:

19. എന്നാല് ക്രിസ്തു നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവരില് ആദ്യഫലമായി മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. If, in this life, in Christ, we have hoped and that is all, we are, of all men, most to be pitied.

20. മനുഷ്യന് മൂലം മരണം ഉണ്ടാകയാല് മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനവും മനുഷ്യന് മൂലം ഉണ്ടായി.

20. But, now, hath Christ been raised from among the dead, a firstfruit of them who have fallen asleep;

21. ആദാമില് എല്ലാവരും മരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ക്രിസ്തുവില് എല്ലാവരും ജീവിക്കപ്പെടും.

21. For, since indeed, through a man, came death, through a man, also cometh the raising of the dead;

22. ഔരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ നിരയിലത്രേ; ആദ്യഫലം ക്രിസ്തു; പിന്നെ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നുള്ളവര് അവന്റെ വരവിങ്കല്;

22. For, just as, in the Adam, all die, so, also, in the Christ, shall all be made alive.

23. പിന്നെ അവസാനം; അന്നു അവന് എല്ലാവാഴ്ചെക്കും അധികാരത്തിന്നും ശക്തിക്കും നീക്കം വരുത്തീട്ടു രാജ്യം പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തെ ഏല്പിക്കും.

23. But, each, in his own rank: A firstfruit, Christ, after that, they who are the Christ's, in his presence,

24. അവന് സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും കാല്ക്കീഴാക്കുവോളം വാഴേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

24. Afterwards, the end whensoever he delivereth up the kingdom unto his God and Father, whensoever he shall bring to nought all rule and all authority and power;

25. ഒടുക്കത്തെ ശത്രുവായിട്ടു മരണം നീങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

25. For he must needs reign, until he shall put all his enemies under his feet:

26. സകലത്തെയും അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ; സകലവും അവന്നു കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല് സകലത്തെയും കീഴാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തവന് ഒഴികെയത്രേ എന്നു സ്പഷ്ടം.

26. As a last enemy, death, is to be destroyed;

27. എന്നാല് അവന്നു സകലവും കീഴ്പെട്ടുവന്നശേഷം ദൈവം സകലത്തിലും സകലവും ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു പുത്രന് താനും സകലവും തനിക്കു കീഴാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തവന്നു കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 8:6

27. For He put, all things, in subjection under his feet. But, whensoever it shall be said all things are in subjection! it is evident that it means, Except him who did put into subjection, unto him, the all things

28. അല്ല, മരിച്ചവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി സ്നാനം ഏലക്കുന്നവര് എന്തു ചെയ്യും? മരിച്ചവര് കേവലം ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ലെങ്കില് അവര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി സ്നാനം ഏലക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

28. But whensoever have been put into subjection, unto him, the all things, then, the Son himself, also shall be put in subjection unto him who put in subjection, unto him, the all things, that, God, may be, all things in all.

29. ഞങ്ങളും നാഴികതോറും പ്രാണഭയത്തില് ആകുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

29. Else, what will they do, who are being immersed in behalf of the dead? If, not at all, are the dead to be raised, why are they even being immersed in their behalf?

30. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിങ്കല് എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളിലുള്ള പ്രശംസയാണ ഞാന് ദിവസേന മരിക്കുന്നു.

30. Why also are, we, running into peril every hour?

31. ഞാന് എഫെസൊസില്വെച്ചു മൃഗയുദ്ധം ചെയ്തതു വെറും മാനുഷം എന്നുവരികില് എനിക്കു എന്തു പ്രയോജനം? മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ലെങ്കില് നാം തിന്നുക, കുടിക്ക, നാളെ ചാകുമല്ലോ.

31. Day by day, am I dying! Yea! by your own boasting, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

32. വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെടരുതു, “ദുര്ഭാഷണത്താല് സദാചാരം കെട്ടുപോകുന്നു.”
യെശയ്യാ 22:13, യെശയ്യാ 56:12

32. If, after the manner of men, I have fought with wild-beasts at Ephesus, what, to me, the profit? If the dead are not raised, Let us eat and drink, for, tomorrow, we die.

33. നീതിക്കു നിര്മ്മദരായി ഉണരുവിന് ; പാപം ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പിന് ; ചിലര്ക്കും ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ല; ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലജ്ജെക്കായി പറയുന്നു.

33. Be not deceiving yourselves, evil communications corrupt gentle manners:

34. പക്ഷേ ഒരുവന് ; മരിച്ചവര് എങ്ങനെ ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു എന്നും ഏതുവിധം ശരീരത്തോടെ വരുന്നു എന്നും ചോദിക്കും.

34. Wake up to sobriety, in righteousness, and be not committing sin; for some have, an ignorance of God: for shame, unto you, am I speaking!

35. മൂഢാ, നീ വിതെക്കുന്നതു ചത്തില്ല എങ്കില് ജീവിക്കുന്നില്ല.

35. But some one will say How, are the dead raised? and, with what kind of body, do they come?

36. നീ വിതെക്കുന്നതോ ഉണ്ടാകുവാനുള്ള ശരീരമല്ല, കോതമ്പിന്റെയോ മറ്റു വല്ലതിന്റെയോ വെറും മണിയത്രേ വിതെക്കുന്നതു;

36. Simple one! What, thou, sowest, is not quickened, except it die;

37. ദൈവമോ തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ അതിന്നു ഒരു ശരീരവും ഔരോ വിത്തിന്നു അതതിന്റെ ശരീരവും കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

37. And, what thou sowest, not the body that shall come into existence, dost thou sow, but a naked kernel if it so happen, of wheat, or of any of the rest,

38. സകല മാംസവും ഒരുപോലെയുള്ള മാംസമല്ല; മനുഷ്യരുടെ മാംസം വേറെ, കന്നുകാലികളുടെ മാംസം വേറെ, പക്ഷികളുടെ മാംസം വേറെ, മത്സ്യങ്ങളുടെ മാംസവും വേറെ.

38. Howbeit, God, giveth it a body, as he pleased, and, unto each of the seeds, a body of its own.

39. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയ ശരീരങ്ങളും ഭൌമശരീരങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടു; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയശരീരങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ, ഭൌമ ശരീരങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ.

39. Not all flesh, is the same flesh; but, one, indeed, is, the flesh of men, and, another, the flesh of beasts, and, another, the flesh of birds, and, another, of fishes;

40. സൂര്യ്യന്റെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ, ചന്ദ്രന്റെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ, നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ; നക്ഷത്രവും നക്ഷത്രവും തമ്മില് തേജസ്സുകൊണ്ടു ഭേദം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

40. And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies, but, of one kind, indeed, is the glory of the heavenly, and, of another kind, is the glory of the earthly;

41. മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനവും അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ. ദ്രവത്വത്തില് വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു,

41. One, is the glory of a sun, and, another, the glory of a moon, and, another, the glory of stars, nay! star from star, differeth in glory.

42. അദ്രവത്വത്തില് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു; അപമാനത്തില് വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, തേജസ്സില് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു; ബലഹീനതയില് വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ശക്തിയില് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു;

42. Thus, also the resurrection of the dead: it is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption,

43. പ്രാകൃതശരീരം വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ആത്മികശരീരം ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു; പ്രാകൃതശരീരം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് ആത്മിക ശരീരവും ഉണ്ടു.

43. It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory, it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power,

44. ഒന്നാം മനുഷ്യനായ ആദാം ജീവനുള്ള ദേഹിയായിത്തീര്ന്നു എന്നു എഴുതിയുമിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ, ഒടുക്കത്തെ ആദാം ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആത്മാവായി.

44. It is sown a body of the soul, it is raised a body of the spirit; if there is a body of the soul, there is also of the spirit:

45. എന്നാല് ആത്മികമല്ല പ്രാകൃതമത്രേ ഒന്നാമത്തേതു; ആത്മികം പിന്നത്തേതില് വരുന്നു.

45. Thus, also, it is written The first man, Adam, became, a living soul, the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

46. ഒന്നാം മനുഷ്യന് ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവന് ; രണ്ടാം മനുഷ്യന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നുള്ളവന് .

46. Howbeit, not first, is the body of the spirit, but that, of the soul, afterwards, that of the spirit.

47. മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവനെപ്പോലെ മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവരും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയനെപ്പോലെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയന്മാരും ആകുന്നു;

47. The first man, is of the ground, earthy, the second man, is, of heaven:

48. നാം മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവന്റെ പ്രതിമ ധരിച്ചതുപോലെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയന്റെ പ്രതിമയും ധരിക്കും.

48. As, the man of earth, such, also, the men of earth, and, as, the man of heaven, such, also, the men of heaven;

49. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, മാംസരക്തങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കുവാന് കഴികയില്ല, ദ്രവത്വം അദ്രവത്വത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കുകയുമില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് പറയുന്നു.
ഉല്പത്തി 5:3

49. And, even as we have borne the image of the man of earth, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.

50. ഞാന് ഒരു മര്മ്മം നിങ്ങളോടു പറയാം

50. And, this, I say, brethren, that, flesh and blood, cannot inherit, God's kingdom. Neither doth, corruption, inherit, incorruption.

51. നാം എല്ലാവരും നിദ്രകൊള്ളുകയില്ല; എന്നാല് അന്ത്യകാഹളനാദത്തിങ്കല് പെട്ടെന്നു കണ്ണിമെക്കുന്നിടയില് നാം എല്ലാവരും രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടും. കാഹളം ധ്വനിക്കും, മരിച്ചവര് അക്ഷയരായി ഉയിര്ക്കുംകയും നാം രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.

51. Lo! a sacred secret, unto you, do I declare: we shall not, all, sleep, but we shall, all, be changed,

52. ഈ ദ്രവത്വമുള്ളതു അദ്രവത്വത്തെയും ഈ മര്ത്യമായതു അമര്ത്യത്വത്തെയും ധരിക്കേണം.

52. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, during the last trumpet; for it shall sound, and, the dead, shall be raised, incorruptible, and, we, shall be changed.

53. ഈ ദ്രവത്വമുള്ളതു അദ്രവത്വത്തെയും ഈ മര്ത്യമായതു അമര്ത്യത്വത്തെയും ധരിക്കുമ്പോള് “മരണം നീങ്ങി ജയം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകും.

53. For this corruptible must needs clothe itself with incorruptibility, and this mortal, clothe itself, with immortality.

54. ഹേ മരണമേ, നിന്റെ ജയം എവിടെ? ഹേ മരണമേ, നിന്റെ വിഷമുള്ളു എവിടെ?
യെശയ്യാ 25:8

54. But, whensoever, this mortal, shall clothe itself with immortality, then, shall be brought to pass the saying that is written Death hath been swallowed up, victoriously;

55. മരണത്തിന്റെ വിഷമുള്ളു പാപം; പാപത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയോ ന്യായപ്രമാണം.
ഹോശേയ 13:14

55. Where, O death, is thy victory? Where, O death, is thy sting?

56. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തു മുഖാന്തരം നമുക്കു ജയം നലകുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം.

56. Now, the sting of death, is, sin, and, the power of sin, is, the law;

57. ആകയാല് എന്റെ പ്രിയ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് ഉറപ്പുള്ളവരും കുലുങ്ങാത്തവരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രയത്നം കര്ത്താവില് വ്യര്ത്ഥമല്ല എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാല് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ വേലയില് എപ്പോഴും വര്ദ്ധിച്ചുവരുന്നവരും ആകുവിന് .

57. But, unto God, be thanks, who is giving unto us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
